Redwinged Blackbird-Rowan Winter

This is just a quick sketch for a story (Redwinged Blackbird) I am hopefully going to be writing next year and the years to follow. (In addition to Lost).
Anyway, this is Rowan Winter. She's rather undeveloped at this point in time, but what I do know is this:
-Age: 19
-Hair color: White
~Background: (tentative)
--has a connection with birds, esp. Redwinged Blackbirds
--can see ghosts/spirits
--has rich parents (who don't really care about her, they're not fond of the ghost thing)
--is supposed to be going to a prestigous college, but secretely rents an apartment and works.



Wow, the scanner ate this...I think it hates the paper I drew it on. Even my lights and darks are off....grrr....
This is kinda half done). But let me know what you think, I haven't drawn a realistic person in quite some time and I'm definately rusty. :s
