Sprig the peace bear

Sprig the birthmarked peace bear, one of my many stuffed animals, all of whom I hope to draw and post. I... guess I've named her after the little plant on her chest. I can almost never remember the particular train of thought that led to some of the strange names I give to these friends of mine.
Now, speaking in non-stuffed-animal terms...
Peace out, y'all! Or, so she likes to say. All the time. It's like her catchphrase. She'll say it to break up an argument between two other people, she'll say it in response to a statement about war, but she often won't follow it. Not that she's out to join the army or anything, but she's definitely not a quiet, peaceful person. She'll be having a perfectly calm conversation with someone one minute, and will before she knows it be in a heated battle of opinions, screaming her head off in an attempt to make herself heard. She can hurl words out louder and faster than most people, and most people unfortunate enough to find themselves in a dispute with her often cannot find space between her sentences in which they might begin talking themselves. When she's like that, it's best to just let her run out of steam.
She's a nice person, but with a short fuse and an explosive voice.
Sprig is also somewhat vain. If you compliment her looks (as people often do) she'll say, "Thanks, I know," or something similar.

What an inspiring birthmark. You truly must be an angel, sent to help us mortals end our petty quarrels and make peace with each other. Little one, guide our steps to a brighter future!
