Kai and Shadow on a Date

I know it's been a while since I last submitted here (I haven't even submitted anything here throught May). I don't want to say I'm dead, but more of dormant.


Kai and Shadow headed out on a nice date one day, and they discuss over Maria, Shadow's best friend that he lost many years ago.

Shadow told Kai about the promise he made to Maria, but Kai told him something she was sure that Maria also wanted for him to make new friends, learn fascinating things, and most of all, enjoy life. Although Shadow told Kai that Maria never told him any of this, he agreed that Kai had a point. He realized what he heard from Maria may have been the only thing she was able to tell him.

At the end of their romantic outing, Shadow thanked Kai for the day and for what she told him. That night, while sleeping, Shadow had a dream where Maria told him the rest of what she wanted Shadow to do. Sure enough, they were exactly the things that Kai had told him.

Kai's outfit is inspired by the outfit that Maria wore on the day she and Shadow were forced to separate.
