FirielOh, I wasn't saying they were unnecessary! It's just not a touch I see used much on drawings of lady deities. ^_^

TeeJay87I see your point - most of ancient cultures depicted their female deities of love and fertility with lesser amount of musculature, reserving fit body shapes for deities of war and similar activities requiring physical strength; traditionally attributed to males.
What I wanted to state in my previous comment is that rather uncommon appearance of peaceful affairs patron deity can be easily explained after small research. So,  nothing bad happened. ;)
