--The next day, at lunch...--
Anne: Yes! Mom packed me Jello for dessert!
Marìa: *stares at her ham sandwich* I have an idea.
Anne: What is it, Marìa-chan?
Marìa: It'll be so mischievious!
Anne: Okay, tell me about it.
Marìa: Okay, so Li wants you to find out where you were born, right?
???: *laughs* Who is Li?
Anne: *turns and sees a black-haired girl* What do you want, Kumi?
Kumi: Let's say I'm, you know, eavesdropping.
Marìa: Listening in on people is cheating, Kumi! You know?
Kumi: Oh really?
Anne: *claps her hands hard, and vines wrap around Kumi*
Kumi: Ack! Get me out, you baka!
Anne: Ok. *claps her hands again, and Kumi is set free*
Kumi: Baka. *strolls away* Hmph!
Marìa: Anyway, look for clues.
Anne: Clues... hmm...
Marìa: Correct. Look in photo albums, video tapes, you know, anything!
Anne: Ah, okay!
Marìa: Oh, and give this to Dylan later. *hands Anne a brown bag*

Li: *appears* That Kumi girl disgusts me! She reminds me of my cousin, Emily.
Anne and Marìa: Emily?
Li: I'll talk about it later. Anyway, you guys can't be late for class!
Marìa: Good point!
Anne: Thanks, Li-san!
Li: No prob! *smiles*
