Chapter 1 - the ballad

The tears gathered in his eyes,

As he uttered painful cries,

"Why my daughter small and strong?

I rarley saw her and now she''s gone."

The wolf that he was crying for,

Had been seen only a day before.



Saffron his daughter was now very weak,

And her passed day had been very bleak,

But then a stranger came to help her,

She backed away as he came closer,

"Please don''t hurt me!" she cried through the rain,

"I''m here to help, you must be in pain."



The stranger helped her and she became strong,

"I''m sorry," she said, " that I got it all wrong,"

She stayed with the stranger for a day,

Then all her fears drained away,

One day she became hypnotised,

By the twinkling looks in his eyes.

 

She fell in love and they''ve had pups since,

Now they look like a princess and her prince,

Saffron found her family again,

Now no longer are they in pain,

There''s a story behind this shower of rain,

Not one person is the same.
