remember the TERMINATOR/WUBBZY WAR and the 2009 WALUIGIGUY CARTOON AWARDS? well, i'm releasing two stories this month and one of them is called "NIGHT AT THE THEATER: BATTLE OF THE CINEMA"
it's a parody of night at the museum (duh), but when the security guard stays at the theater for the night, the movies come to life
to celebrate the release of the story, i'm planning the
2009 WALUIGIGUY SUMMER MOVIE AWARDS!!!!!

the 2009 WALUIGIGUY SUMMER MOVIE AWARDS will begin on July 21st and will last for only a few days (actually, the release date depends on when i see Ponyo, if i see it this Thursday, then the awards will start on the 21st, this friday, but if i see Ponyo anytime after thursday of friday, i will have to delay the awards and reschedule it for later)
along with the Movie Awards, i will also be putting on the 2009 WALUIGIGUY SUMMER MOVIE COUNTDOWN, which will take place on the night of the release of the new story (NIGHT AT THE THEATER: BATTLE OF THE CINEMA), this SATURDAY (i hope).

HOW TO PLAY:
THE 2009 WALUIGIGUY SUMMER MOVIE AWARDS
pretty much the same as the CARTOON AWARDS,, but slightly different. for each category (see "planned categories" above) with the exception of OVERALL BEST SUMMER MOVIE, you vote for 1 of the 3 nominees in the category. ONLY 1.
if i see Ponyo on Thursday, you can start voting, and i'll put the results on my Profile Page a few days later.

HOW TO PLAY:
THE 2009 WALUIGIGUY SUMMER MOVIE COUNTDOWN
this one is different, (if i see Ponyo on Thursday) on Friday, you have 8 nominees (see "planned nominees" above), for each nominee you give a star rating (5 stars is the limit, and you don't have to give a star rating to the movies you haven't seen). i will also be asking other people and critics for their star ratings. then on Saturday, i will add up all the stars collected for each movie and the one with the most stars is #1 on the countdown.
HOW THE COUNTDOWN WORKS:
starting at a specific hour, i will put #8 (the movie with the least stars) on my profile page. then in the next hour, i'll do #7, then an hour later, i'll do #6, and you get the idea now. on the last 7th hour, there will be 2 nominees with the highest ratings, and i will reveal to you which movie is #1 in the next hour. (NOTE: if some movies will have the same amount of stars with another one, they will have to share a number, but if it happens with the 2 movies with the highest ratings, i will put on a tie breaker)

i hope to put up a promotional poster of my new story soon.
