Chapter 7 The Monstrous Curse
After Fury scared Jesse's mother she decided to wait until she woke up, so she could explain what happened. Jesse's mother hadn't woken up for two days and everybody started to get worried and Jesse and her brother had to go to school. Fury told them that she would watch over their mother until they got back. As they walked out the door and told Fury," good bye." After they left Fury sat in a chair next to the poor woman's bed and she dozed off. She heard something moving and she looked around to see what it was and she saw nothing so she snuggled back into the chair and went back to sleep. Then there were three mysterious figures stepping out of hiding and said," That was a close one we were almost detected by the subject, let's get her before she wakes up and fights us."With saying that they spray a strange chemical into the sleeping wolf's face and they tied her up and they hauled her out of the house one of them talked into a cell phone and then a chopper appeared in the sky and landed and let the three men and Fury aboard. it took off again. The chopper landed in a old plane hanger and they all got off and got sleeping Fury inside the thought to be abandoned building. When Fury finally awoke she said,"What happened... where am I?""You are in a secret lab so we can preform some tests on you," says a man in a white lab coat. He takes a rather large needle out of his lab coat and walks toward Fury with it. She hated needles, so she tried to escape but she couldn't move because she couldn't move any part of her body."What's going on," Fury said still trying to move and get away."We gave you a shot to paralyzed all of the muscles in your body so you wouldn't put up a fight,"answers the man. Fury ask," Who is this "we"."" Oh I forgot to mention that I am the head scientist of the GUN's science unit," says the man."What do you plan to do with me?" asks Fury. " Oh we plan to inject you with this chemical to see what your reaction is to it," explains the scientist.""Have you tried this on anybody else?" asks Fury." Yes, but the others just died and beings that you are part of the Ultimate Lifeform we wanted to see if you could survive it," says the scientist. As he says this he sticks Fury with the needle and injects the strange liquid into Fury's blood stream. She feels the weird chemical run through her body and she passes out once it reached her brain. The scientist tells one of the other men to take Fury to a holding cell so they could observe her behavior or physical changes she might have. Once Fury awoke she felt different in some way, she couldn't figure out why she felt different but she did none the less. She jumped with a start when a voice came up behind her and said" Why our test worked she is still alive, usually they die when injected but you survived... congrats."" Why do I feel so different," Fury said. "We thought you were dead because you technically have no signs of life," says the man."What do you mean," asks Fury."Well you have no heart beat, your not breathing and you just look flat out dead,"says the scientist."May I please go now if you are done with the tests,"says Fury. " No we need to run some more tests,"say the scientist."Oh but I think we're done here," sneers Fury. As she says this she breaks the glass of the holding cell and runs off through the building to seek an exit. She sees a door and she runs towards it when something hits her in the back and she feels drowsy again and she fell back into a deep sleep. When she awoke again she was now in a dark room with no windows and only a heavy steel door she feels something on her back and she turns to see what it is and she sees a pair of purple and green bat wing on her back. She tested them to see if she could move them and it didn't take long to get control of them. That was strange and she felt something poke her lip and she reached up to feel what was in her mouth and she ran her finger across a long pair of incisors. She accidently cut her finger and it started to bleed as she looked for something to wipe it off with. As she looked at the blood she felt a strange sensation and she licked the blood off of her finger. When she noticed what she did she thought," There is something very wrong with me" and she went to a small mirror to look at herself and she saw nothing."OH MY GOD I'M A MONSTER!" yells Fury. She heard a voice come up behind her and say," Our little monster is finally awake, and you look so much different I like it," says the scientist."What have you done to me, I have become a flesh eating monster,"asks Fury."You were injected with a toxin that was suppose to make you stronger and let us control your brain but we accidently turned you into a vampire and now you crave the taste of blood,"explains the scientist." What do I do now?" asks Fury."Well I suggest you get something to eat before you get too weak to hunt and die," says the scientist." What do you mean by that, you want me to kill someone and drink their blood to survive," says Fury. "No I want you to bake a cake... yes I want you to feed so you can stay alive and I can see how that toxin did this to you and maybe I can fix it," says the scientist."How am I suppose to do that when I'm stuck in this room and I don't want to harm anyone," says Fury." You may not want to but you have to, so you better get a move on," says the scientist."How do you know when you let me out I won't kill you and run away?"asks Fury. The scientist replies,"Well that's a good question I plan to put this collar on you I can track you and if you misbehave it will shock you."The scientist pulls a black collar out of his lab coat and tells the man standing with him to hold her down while he puts the collar on her. Fury had other plans as they came in she launches herself at them and they duck out of the way to avoid being bitten by the crazy wolf girl. She spreads her wings and glides over their heads and out of a open window close to the ceiling and lucky for her it was dark or she would have burned up. She flew until her wing got tired and she decided to land to think things out. What was she going to do now. She thought for a while when she realized that she was needing to feed and she needed to feed soon.
