Zekaskis slowly opened his eyes and saw four blurred figures. He’s head hurt and his hands were burning because of the lightning he shot. He closed them again, because his eyes hurt and then heard voices talking.
???: You think he’s gonna be okay?
???: I don’t know, but probably yes. I think he’s just shocked and tired…
???: Jacob was talking about some emeralds…
At that moment Zekaskis opened his eyes and sat up. It didn’t hurt that much anymore. He rubbed his head a little and turned to his right. Magneto, Thunder, Flame and Ice were standing there looking a bit worried at him.
Magneto: Hey, kid… You okay?
Zekaskis forced himself to smile a bit, so they wouldn’t worry that much about him.
Zekaskis: Yeah… Yeah, I’m okay… Just tired a bit…
Magneto: You have a scar you know…?
Zekaskis touched his left eye from eyebrow down to the cheek and felt the scar. It hurt a little, when he was touching it.
Zekaskis: It doesn’t matter… Is Thunder okay?
Thunder: Yeah, I’m fine…
Thunder smiled at him and Zekaskis smiled back. Magneto then looked at Thunder.
Magneto: You said that Jacob was talking about emeralds?
Thunder nodded and looked at him.
Thunder: Yeah, you know anything about it…?
Magneto was looking down at his feet and looked like he was thinking. Thunder, Flame, Ice and Zekaskis looked at Magneto waiting for an answer.
Magneto: Well… Yeah, I think I know what he meant…
Ice: And you didn’t tell us, huh…?
Magneto: There could be loads of time for telling you about that!
Flame: Riiight… Yeah, LOADS of time… Especially when we’re all dead…
Thunder: C’mon, Flame, Magneto just forgot!
Flame: Aww…. Big mighty lion protects his older brother… How sweet…
Thunder: YOU SHUT UP!!Flame: OR ELSE WHAT?!!!Magneto: GUYS!!!!Both looked at Magneto.
Magneto: Stop that…
Flame: …Fine…
Thunder: Hmph…
Magneto: About the emeralds… Ice, Thunder, Flame, come with me. Zekaskis, you need to rest now.
Zekaskis: Yeah… I’m tired anyway…
Zekaskis smiled and lied down on the pillow. Magneto walked out of the room and went to his own. Thunder, Flame and Ice followed him and watched as he takes three emeralds out of a box. They looked interested at the emeralds. One of them was golden with thunders hitting in it, the other one was red with fire burning in it and the third one was blue with an ice cube and water spinning around it. They looked amazed at the emeralds.
Thunder: So this is what he was talking about…
Magneto: The golden one is yours Thunder. Flame, you have the red one and Ice has the blue one. Only you can control those emeralds. And each of you controls his own. They’re called Soul Emeralds. Dad created them for you before all this happened… By the way, you can look into the past, future and change some things which already happened with them…
Magneto placed Thunder’s emerald in front of him. Thunder looked at the emerald with curiosity. He was amazed by the beauty of the emerald. He tried to touch it and placed his paw on it but it hit him with lightning hard, so he jumped away from it and looked scared at it.
Magneto: You have to “earn its trust”…
Thunder: Trust of… an emerald?
Magneto: Sounds weird, but yeah… The emerald works only when you really need it.
Thunder: Why did Jacob wanted these emeralds?
Magneto: You guys have a big power when using these emeralds, so he probably wanted to use them for something.
Flame: Big power, huh? And… it makes us stronger than you?
Ice: Flame, please, cut it out…
Magneto: No, it makes you black…
Flame: Already am…
Magneto: ….Black by fur, you idiot….
Flame: Woow… There will be hundreds of Magnetos running around…
Magneto just glared at him for a few minutes then slapped him hard. Flame just stood there staring shocked at Magneto.
Magneto: Anymore jokes?
Flame: Um… No?Magneto: Thank you.
Ice: Soo…It makes us black, because?Magneto: Because it’s something like your super form or what?
Ice: Uh…Okay…
Magneto: But your markings will stay the same.
Thunder: And…. The emerald hit me with lightnings, because?

Thunder stared at him waiting impatiently for the answer. But Magneto really didn’t know why it hit him so he decided to skip that part.
Magneto: Who cares?!
Thunder: Well, I care!! Cause… It freaking HURT!!
Magneto: Weell….. Your problem.
Thunder stared at him shocked then hit him with a very weak lightning so it won’t hurt him much.
Magneto: OW!!! What the hell was that for?!!
Thunder: To know how it felt…
Magneto just sighed.
Magneto: Anyway… You have to uh… Guard these emeralds like they’re part of you.
Ice: And if not?
Magneto: I’ll kill you.
All of them stared shocked at Magneto with their mouth open, then they grabbed their emeralds running off with them.
Magneto: Hehe… Naïve kids…
While Thunder, Flame and Ice we’re running through the hallways Ice was still freaked out.
Ice: Man, your bro is sick!
Thunder: I-I-I’m sure he was kidding. Hehe…
Flame: Eh, guys? Intelligent question…
At that moment he stopped and looked baffled at them.
Flame: Where… are we running actually…?
All three just stood there holding there emeralds and thinking. They actually didn’t knew what to do next.
Ice: You’re thinking too much Flame…
Flame: ….No?
Thunder sighed and turned to them.
Thunder: You guys can do whatever you wanna do, but I’m going out. I’ll be in the garden if you’ll need me…
Thunder turned back to the doors and walked out.
