"I can't wait to see Trinity!"Aqua cried happily, taking the shortcut home through Juuban park staring at the Pink Crystal Key in awe at its beauty. Then, she remembered a time on the Moon Kingdom involving this key. Flashback... "Trinity what is it?"Aqua asked excitedly, shaking the small box that her cousin had given her. "Open it and you'll find out!"Trinity happily replied, smiling at the hyperness of her favorite cousin.
She opened it to find a small pink crystal on a gold chain. "Oh Trinz this is beautiful!"Aqua said, slipping it around her neck. "Its our friendship crystals, I have one in gold."Trinity replied, holding up a crystal just like it in gold on a silver chain. "This is the best present I've ever gotten Trinity! Arigato!"Aqua said, pulling Trinity into a hug. "We'll be friends forever."Aqua thought, taking the crystal in her hand and looking at it. End flashback... "Trinity, you're too sweet."Aqua said, slipping the crystal under her shirt and skipping towards home. But then, a cackling stopped her. She turned around to see Hoshiko. "So that little crystal will allow me to get ahold of the princess of the Sun? How brilliant!"Hoshiko said, laughing.
"I'm not giving you a chance to harm my cousin!"Aqua said, getting into a fighting stance and holding the crystal to her heart willing it that Trinity wasn't in the secret place. "Well then, I'll take it by force! HAH!"hoshiko replied, launching an unexpected fireball at Aqua and knocking her backwards. Unfortunatly she hit the back of her head on a tree causing her to slip into unconsiousness with the last thing she saw being Hoshiko leaning over her and ripping the necklace off her then disappearing. But she willed herself to do one thing before she passed out: slam her wrist on the ground causing her wrist communicator's "All call" button to be pressed.
Then, she passed out. When she woke up she was in her room with a bandage on the back of her head and the girls standing all around her crying, obviously not realizing that she had woken up. "How could we let this happen? One of us should have made sure she got home alright then she could've had someone to protect her!"Makoto cried angrily, slamming her fist on the bookshelf. "We can't lose our little princess we just can't!"Haruka cried, for once showing a sign of weakness and crying.
"Guys, don't declare me dead yet, I have a worse additude to keep me alive than Haruka."Aqua said, alerting them all that she was alive. "Aqua! Oh my gosh you're alright!"Makoto said, hugging her. "Yes I am, did I have any serious injuries?"Aqua replied, smiling at Makoto then turning to Ami. "Nothing serious, just a couple of cuts and bruises and a bump on your head."Ami said, smiling at her.
"That's good, I'm glad she didn't get this."Aqua said, reaching down to touch the necklace but then realizing she HAD taken it. "Oh no! I have to go!"Aqua cried, jumping up to teleport but Rei grabbing her arm to stop her. "There isn't any way on Earth or the Moon were letting you leave alone with what just happened!"Rei cried. "Rei, with that necklace in Hoshiko's possession Trinity is in danger I'm going no matter what I have to do!"Aqua replied, a look of determination on her face.
"Fine, just be careful."Rei said, realeasing her and Aqua teleporting away. "I hope you know what your doing."Rei said, into the sky. When Aqua arrived she saw that the Secret Place was in rubble and Trinity was nowhere in site. But she looked into the air to see the slightly conscious form of Trinity floating there.
"TRINITY!"Aqua cried, floating up to her and wrapping her arms around her. "I'm so sorry Trinity, I should've been here to protect you."Aqua whispered, crying. "Well, if you have anything to trade for her elegant Soul Flower you could save her."A voice said. She turned her head to see Hoshiko holding a light orange rose in her hand, obviously Trinity's Soul Flower.
What do you want for it?"Aqua asked. "Oh I'm not sure, let me think for a bit."Hoshiko said. "How about a scout?"A voice cried. Aqua looked to the ground to find the scouts standing there being led by Sailor Shadow.
"Shadow you musn't! I need you, the scouts need you! I'll give her something else, just don't give her yourself!"Aqua cried, floating to the ground still holding Trinity's body. "You no longer need me Aqua, you aren't the baby I started protecting all those years ago, You're a strong princess with good friends who would go to the ends of the Earth to protect you. Just think about geting Trinity back to normal."Naoko replied, looking away from Aqua though Aqua could tell she was hiding tears. "Okay deal, here's the brat's Soul Flower back."Hoshiko replied, tossing the flower to Usagi and landing on the ground by Naoko. "Next time you see your precious Shadow she'll be on our side! Bye bye Sailor twits!"Hoshiko said.
And with that she teleported away taking Naoko with her. "Naoko-chan..."Aqua whispered. "Come, we need to get Trinity back to my apartment."Usagi said, looking at the face of her beloved sister. "Okay."Aqua said.
So they stepped through the open portal with one member back and another lost.
