"Guys I can't do this!"Aqua cried, turning to them. They were at their high school graduation and Aqua was having a fit of gitters. "No Aqua, we've got through High School together and were getting through graduation together!"Makoto said, shaking Aqua. "Fine, let's show them that the Sailor Senshi aren't frady cats!"Aqua said, turning around. "Tenou Haruka"The announcer said.
She walked up and got her diploma. "Kaioh Michiru." She walked up and grabbed it then stood beside Haruka. "Tsukino Trinity."
She went up, grabbed it, then ran over beside the two. "Kurosaki Aqua." Aqua walked up, took it gently in her hands, then walked over beside the girls looking into the crowd where the Starlights, Setsuna, Hotaru, and Mamoru were smiling approvingly. "May I present the graduating class of 2008!"The announcer cried.
But just as the crowd started applauding lighting shot down from the sky everwhere causing everyone to run for shelter. Then, a voice cried out, "Sailor Senshi, if you want to save your beloved planet come to our headquaters." "Guys, let's go."Aqua said to everyone else. "Hai."They all said.
So they ran to a hidden spot and henshined then teleported to what would be the sight of their final battle. When they arrived Aqua touched the doors then turned to the rest of them. "I think I should do this alone guys, I don't want you getting into any more pain on my account."Aqua said. "No way Aqua, we started this out together were finishing it together."Usagi said, placing her hands gently on Aqua's shoulders.
"Ok, let's finish this together."Aqua replied, hugging Usagi then turning back to the door. Then, she opened the doors and stepped through. When they stepped over the threshold Aqua noticed something strange: "Hey, is it just me or does this place have more floors than usual?" "Welcome Sailor Senshi, the reason for that is I've turned this into a maze. If you can get through it to me then you'll be able to fight me."A dark woman said. "What makes it a maze?"Aqua asked, hesitating in front of the stairwell that would lead them to the second floor.
"What makes it a maze is, if you want to make it to me unharmed I shall capture one of your senshi on every floor."the woman said, cackling. "No deal! I would never risk the lives of my senshi!"Aqua cried, looking back at all of them. "Oh, you mean like you didn't do on the Moon Kingdom?"The woman asked, laughing at the fact that she knew she hit one of Aqua's weak points. "Stop it! Come on!"Aqua cried, rushing over to the stairwell but not noticing one of the walls start speeding towards her.
"Aqua-chan, abunai!"Ami cried, pushing Aqua out of the way but being hit by the wall herself and the wall pushing her into some secret panel. "AMI-CHAN!"Aqua screamed, slamming her fist on the wall where she disapeared. "Well Sailor Aquarius, that's one down after I get the rest of them will you finally be able to reach me."The woman said. "Ami-chan..."Aqua whispered, falling to her knees and silent tears falling down her face.
Then, Naoko came over and placed her hands on Aqua's shoulders. "Don't worry, we will get her back I guarantee it."Naoko said, attempting to calm her. "Your right, don't worry Ami-chan were coming."Aqua replied, standing up. "Right, now let's go."Rei said.
Once they reached the next floor they were looking around warily for anything that would try and take one of them. Once they didn't notice anything they started walking to the stairwell when suddenly, vines popped up out of the ground. "RUN!"Usagi cried. They started running toward the stairwell but the vines wrapped around Venus' legs and started dragging her into a hole.
"Minako-chan!"Aqua cried, catching her hand right outside the hole. "Aqua, stay strong for me. Your the only one who can beat her."Venus said weakly. "Don't say that Minako-chan! Were going to beat her together you promised!"Aqua cried, more tears starting to form at the sides of her eyes. "Don't cry Selena, my dear cousin, I'm sorry I can't protect you any longer."Venus said, a single tear slipping down her face before, she let go and slid down the hole.
"MINAKO-CHAN!"Aqua cried. "Come on, we have to keep going."Trinity said, helping Aqua up. When they arrived on the next level there was a giant fire pit! "Can the eneemy ever make things easy for us?"Trinity asked. They started hopping across the single line of stones when suddenly, a giant fire youma rose out of the fire!
And it grabbed the one person Aqua hoped it wouldn't: Rei. "REI!"Aqua screamed, running over and about to jump in after her but being grabbed around the waist by Haruka. Then, they heard Rei's voice say, "Minna, you must understand this was my destiny. Aqua, don't cry over me it just makes me happy to know you'll be able to beat her to a bloody pulp in my honor. Sayonara." And with that her voice faded out. "Rei. This can't be."Aqua said, opening her locket where the picture of her and Rei still layed and a single tear falling on it.
"Rei, you can guarantee me I'll beat her to a bloody pulp in your honor. Let's go."Aqua said, finishing the stride across the stones. When they reached the next level it was filled by water. "Well, the other levels have sort of told us who's she planning on taking. Since Ami is already gone we can tell by this that her next target is-"Makoto started but Aqua finished for her by grabbing Michiru's waist and crying, "NO! I'm not losing you to Michiru Onee-chan! You said you would always be there for me I'm not losing you!".
But Michiru unhooked her arms and smiled at her in a loving way. "Aqua, you should know that I'll do anything for you. And if this is what I must do to keep you safe even for a small while it's what I'll do." Michiru walked over to the edge of the water while Aqua, Setsuna, Haruka, and Hotaru started crying while the others were close to it. Then, a whirlpool sucked in Michiru.
"MICHIRU!"Aqua cried, falling next to the now still water. Then, some of the water lapped at her knees as if willing her to stay strong and keep moving. She knew it was Michiru's spirit egging her on. "Let's keep moving."Aqua said.
In the next level they were suddenly floating on clouds! "Oh no, not you!"Aqua cried, looking at Haruka. "Well, at least I'll be with Michiru."Haruka said. Then, the clouds turned into a monster that swallowed her whole.
"No, not Haruka too, I don't know how long I'll last."Aqua said, falling on her knees. Then, a hot wind whipped at her hair just in the way Haruka would pull her hair when she was teasing her. "Let's keep moving, I know that's what the girls would want us to do."Aqua said, looking at the door. She had a feeling they were close to the end.
The next level was surrounded in clocks. "It's my turn to go."Setsuna said, stepping forward. She stood there while the clocks started swirling around her and suddenly stopped and shocked her with weird energy that made her disapear. "Setsuna-mama!"Hotaru cried, falling on her knees where Setsuna had just been standing.
Then, Aqua hugged her. "Come on hime-chan, you know Setsuna, Michiru, and Haruka wouldn't want to see you like this knowing they can't come comfort you."Aqua said soothingly, wiping away some of Hotaru's tears. "Your right Aqua Onee-chan, let's go finish this."Hotaru said, standing up and taking Aqua's hand. So they walked into the stairwell up to the next level.
When they reached the next level they were surrounded by forest. "No, not Mako-chan..."Aqua whispered. Then, the trees wrapped themselves around Makoto and bound her. "No Mako-chan, don't leave me! You have Nephirite and your future to think about! You can't leave all that behind!"Aqua cried.
"Aqua, you always were the sentimental one. This is what has to happen to me, stay strong and I'm always with you."Makoto whispered. Then, in a flash of light, she was gone just like the others. "No...NO! I give up, I can't keep doing this I don't want to lose the rest of you let's just go home and forget it!"Aqua cried, falling on the ground and sobbing the hardest she had sobbed since they started the journey. Then, Naoko did something you would never had expected her to do: She walked over to Aqua and slapped her.
"Pull yourself together Aqua, whatever caused you to start thinking like that? Whatever happened to the Aqua I used to know that it was always, "Fight or fall?" this Aqua is just a sniveling crybaby that can't fight without protection! What happened to the old Aqua?"Naoko cried. Then, Aqua stood up, glared at Naoko, and said in the coldest voice you had ever heard from her, "She died along with her senshi and loyal friends." She walked over to a small steam and started rubbing the cool water on the place where Naoko hit her and she started crying with teardrops falling on the water. Then, a sakura blossom in the colors of all the senshi they had lost so far bloomed out of the ground right next to her.
She picked it and as soon as she did, she heard all their voices speaking to her," Aqua, Naoko's right you shouldn't cry over us." "The old Aqua that suppousedly died with us were sending back, we need our brave fighter Princess and best friend back." "so pull yourself together and fight for us!" "Your right guys, I have my courage renewed. Arigato."
And with that, sakura blossom in hand, she ran over to the others with a smile and renewed courage. "Let's go fight for our friends."Aqua said, smiling at all that were left. "What changed your mind?"Yuki asked. She just looked down at the blossom then said, "Some really good friends."
So they walked up to the next level. When they got up to it it was a snow-covered terrain. "But, this could be any of you guys all of your powers have something to do with winter!"Aqua said, looking at her team. "But look, it looks like there only taking two of us."Yuki said, sadly, pointing into the air.
Then, they saw one thing, the snow and Aurora Borealis touching each other. "You ready to do our true duty sis?"Aurora asked, holding out her hand out to her sister. "Always as long as I'm with you."Snow replied, taking her hand. Then, snow started swirling around them and in a flash they were gone.
"Goodbye my friends."Aqua whispered to herself. Then, she saw that two more colors flashed onto the blossom. They were safely with the others now. So they silently walked up to the next level.
When they arrived on the next level they were surrounded in darkness and snow. "I think I can figure this out."Aqua said, looking at Naoko and Toshi then looking sadly down at Hotaru. "Goodbye Hotaru."Aqua said, hugging her. "Bye Aqua Onee-chan, I hope you beat her good."Hotaru replied, a single tear sliding down her face.
"Come on sister, it is our time."Naoko said, holding out her hand to Hotaru. "Okay sister, I trust you."Hotaru said, taking her hand. And in a swirl of bats and shadows they were gone as well. "Guys, my strentgh is weakning, please promise you'll stay with me through the rest."Aqua whispered.
Then, she felt all their energies around her: she knew they were with her. So she and the only two who were still with her went to the next level. When they got to the next level it was nothing but the Moon. "Well, I guess this is goodbye Usagi."Aqua said, hugging her along with Trinity.
"Yeah, man I never thought I would have to deal with this again. At least this time it will be by the comforting energies of my home."Usagi replied, looking up at the Moon with a tear in the side of her eye. Then, the Moon shined its light on her and she was gone. "Well, this is the last level before we reach Megumi."Trinity said, starting to walk up the staires but being stopped by Aqua saying, "Trinz?" When she turned to look at her Aqua was holding her hand out to her longingly.
So as a silent answer Trinity took her hand. And together, hand in hand, they walked up the staires where they would part again. When they got up to the final level they were standing face to face with the Sun. "Well Trinz, I guess this is goodbye."Aqua said.
Yeah, I guess it is."Trinity replied. Then, they rushed into each others arms for a final hug. "I'll miss you Trinz."Aqua said. "I'll miss you to Lena."Trinity replied, using the nickname she used for her on the Moon Kingdom.
So they seperated, Trinity got in the open area, and in a flash of golden light she was gone. "Goodbye, great Sailor Sun."Aqua whispered. So she climbed the staires to meet with her final battle: Megumi. When she arrived Megumi was sitting on a black throne with spider webs all over and around it.
"Welcome Sailor Aquarius, to what I'm sure will be your final battle!"Megumi cried. "I'm fighting with my friends behind me, let's see who's the greater match good or evil."Aqua said, brandishing her cresent moon rod. "Very well, Dark Power!"Megumi cried, shooting black lighting at her ad shattering the floor into an encasing around her. But it cracked open to reveal Princess Selena.
She held her wand out in front of her and cried, "Angel Harmonic Barrage!" Shooting bright pink energy to match the lightining. They held like that for what seemed like forever until Aqua started weakning. "Crystal, please give me the gift of my friends back."Aqua thought. Then, in flashes of light they were back, just as better as they were before they started this.
They each grasped their hands around the rod and cried together, "Silver Moon Power!" The power got stronger and stronger each minute coming closer to destroying Megumi. When Aqua suddenly realized if the girls stayed where they were the crystal would destroy them as well: No, she wasn't going to allow that. She was righting all her wrongs here. She shoved them behind her and cried, "Saturn, Pluto, put sheilds around everyone now!"
"But, what about you?"Pluto cried. "For once just forget about me and do it!"Aqua cried. With tears in their eyes they cried, "Silent Wall!" "Garnet Ball!" And with her last ounce of power she pushed the energy forward and Megumi was destroyed, their battle was over.
But then, Aqua's crystal shattered and she fell to the ground, dead. "AQUA!"They all screamed, running over to her. "Aqua onegai, shikaiste! You can't leave us after all we've been through!"Trinity cried, shaking her body. "No, we can't have gone through all of this just to lose the very person we were trying to protect."Michiru whispered, burying her face in Haruka's shoulder.
They all sat there silently crying until in a flash of light, a mini version of her mother appeared. "Queen Selena!"They all cried. "Girls, you've done well in this battle and protecting my daughter."She said. "How can you say that when she's dead?!?!?"Haruka cried.
"Only the spirit of the people she was trying to protect can bring her back, and only you girls can do that. So, good luck."She replied, and with that she disappeared. They all bowed their heads, concentrated their energies, they went into their princess forms, and their energies shot into her crystal bringing the peices back together, the reformed crystal landing on her chest, and in a flash of pink light she was back in her sailor fuku. "Aqua?"Trinity asked. Her eyes slowly fluttered open and she said, "Did we beat her?"
"We did, oh were so glad your ok Aqua!"Trinity replied, hugging her with tears of joy sliding down her face. Then, they all got into a group hug, most of the girls doing exactly what Trinity was doing. "Ok, now let's go home."Aqua said, taking Trinity and Usagi's hands. "Hai, home sounds good right now."Haruka said, taking Usagi and Michiru's hands.
So they telported home, their battle was won and they were saved again.
