The next morning all the girls found notes on their bedroom doors from Aqua and Trinity:
Dear girls,
We discovered that the time has come for you to gain back some of your old powers. Meet us fifth period in the private courtyard for the first lesson.
Aqua and Trinz
Well, they all got excited after reading their notes and couldn't wait for fifith period to come. It finally came and everyone rushed to the courtyard, ready to test out their new powers. Once everyone was there Aqua stepped forward and spoke up. "Minna, after searching through our old memories we've disovered that you each had control over an element: Rei had fire and that entailed making flames appear in her hand, being able to set things on fire with her mind, things like that. Ami had ice and that entailed making sculptures, being able to form water into differnt shapes and forms, among other things. Minako had metal and basically she could make anything out of metal, though I believe Aretmis has already been training her in this? *Insert her looking at Aretimis* Makoto had earth she could grow flowers willingly, make a tree grow anywhere, things like that. Haruka had wind she could use wind to increase the power of her sword and cut through anything, whip up tornadoes, and other things. Michiru had water and could do basically everthing Ami could among other things. And Hotaru had darkness, she could control shadows, use them to her advantage in battle, other cool things like that but Setsuna is training her in that at home."Aqua explained.
"So can we start trying to regain control of them now?"Haruka asked excitedly. "Sure, but were only starting with simple stuff."Trinity replied. "Rei, why don't you try to make a small flame appear in your hand? Just concentrate all your energy that you use to fight into the palm of your hand."Aqua said, making Rei hold out her hand. "Ok."Rei replied, starting to concentrate her energies.
After a minute a flame about the size of Hotaru's hand sprange up in her palm. "I did it!"Rei said, smiling happily. "Ok, stop concentrating your energy to make it stop."Aqua said, smiling at her friend's enthusiasm. Once Rei did that she stepped in front of Ami.
"Ok Ami, yours is simple: Just do what Rei did except concentrating on pulling a stream of water out of this bowl."Aqua explained, looking down at the bowl of water Trinity had just handed her. "Hai, I'll try."Ami replied, doing what she was told. In no less than a minute Ami was controlling a small stream of water she had pulled from the bowl. "Great job Ami-chan! Now do you think you can "control" that stream back into the bowl?"Aqua said, looking again down at the bowl.
"Just watch me."Ami said confidently, moving it elequantly back into the bowl. "Perfect! Now I want to see how far Minako has gotten in her training with Aretimis."Aqua said, walking over to her cousin holding a medium-sized peice of metal. "Minako-chan, I want you to try and form this into a globe."Aqua said. "Fine by me."Minako said, putting her hands in front of the metal and concentrating her energies.
Suddenly, the metal sprang to life and shaped itself into a globe. "Aretimis has taught you well Minako-chan."Aqua said, placing the globe to the side. Then, she stepped in front of Makoto. "Makoto, do exactly what Rei did except concentrate on growing a flower of any kind."Aqua said.
"Sure."Makoto said, doing it exactly. Then, slowly but surely, a small lily bloomed out of her hand. "That's a good choice Mako."Aqua said, picking up the flower. "Arigato Aqua!"Makoto replied happily.
She then stepped in front of Haruka and Michiru. "I'm going to have you two do something together and harder."Aqua said, gesturing them over to a small pond. "First, I want Michiru to use this water and form an ice sculpture of Queen Beryl, then I want Haruka to concentrate wind into her sword and chop its head off!"Aqua said. "You just watch us."Michiru said, doing what the others had done.
Suddenly, a lifelike sculpture of Queen Beryl sprange up in the center of the pond. "Your turn Ruka-chan."Aqua said. "Fine."Haruka replied, pulling out the Space Sword. She held it out in front of her and suddenly, wind started swirling around it at high speed.
Then, she jumped into the air and sliced the sculpture in half. "Perfect."Aqua said. "Ok guys, that's enough training for today. We'll start training in this spot every day at fifth period."Trinty said. "Hai!"They all replied. So they all broke apart to go the the ending classes of the day.
