And we have a month and a half before we need to start training for the commercial.” “Nurse Cat, huh?” Honda asked with a grin. “That’s an interesting way to see it, Honda.” Joey said. Cat sweatdropped. Everyone was at school. Except for Atemu who was still sick. Cat, Kay, Kanya, Joey, Anzu and Honda stood in the busy hallway, near the windows. “Well…it does mean that I’ll be spending my time with him until he gets better.” Cat said. “Good thing colds don’t last that long.” Kay said. “Hey Cat!” Everyone turned to see Yugi running up to them. “Hey Yugi. He’s been asking around for you, Cat.” Indeed, outside, in front of the school, was a man that looked a little older than they were, by a year or two. He was as tall and thin as Kaiba. His hair went down to the ends of his shoulders and it was dyed silver. The man wore mostly black. Black pants, black turtleneck, black trench coat with some silver ornaments and jewelry on it, and black boots. On his ears were large silver earrings. And around his neck was a silver necklace with a large silver, jeweled pendant. And to finish it, his skin was very pale and his eyes were so dark of a brown, from afar his eyes looked black. His nails were also slightly longer than usual, and black. He looked like a dark man. Cat gasped when she spotted him. “I recognize him!” She exclaimed. “Do you?” Yugi asked. “I kind of do too, but I wanted to make sure you didn’t have some pervert or creep following you around.” “Kyofu…that’s his stage name, and it means, in English, “Fearful”.” Cat explained as her eyes narrowed. “I don’t know his real name, and in fact, I’ve hardly seen him in person at all. He goes to a different agency, but he’s a singer as well. His music is pretty dark sounding. I don’t know all that much about him…but he’s a year or two older than us and I hear he’s a mysterious guy.” “That’s quite a mouthful for someone who doesn’t know much about him.” Kanya pointed out. “But you said you hardly see him or anything, right? Why would he be looking for you?” Anzu asked. Cat looked a little worried. “I don’t know. But what I want to know how he found out I went to this school. It’s a secret among show business and it was hard to make everyone here at this school to keep it a secret.” She said. “Someone coulda slipped it out!” Joey said and pounded his fist against his hand. “I can take ‘em out for ya!” “Good luck with that.” Kay said sarcastically. “If that’s true, then we don’t even know who did it. There are thousands of kids at this school.” “She’s got a point.” Honda said. “Are you going to go out there and meet him?” Yugi asked Cat. Cat was silent for a moment. “Yeah. I guess I might as well. Maybe we’re overreacting about all of this. He could just be here because someone sent him, or maybe it’s for business or something harmless like that.” She said before leaning back from the window. The bell rang. “I’ll go with you.” Yugi said to Cat. “It’s not a good idea for you to go alone. Just in case.” “I’ll come too.” Kay said. “I don’t trust that guy.” “We’ll tell the teacher that you’ll be late.” Anzu said. “Be careful.” The three nodded and headed for the stairs. *** “How are you feeling, Atemu?” Solomon asked as he handed Atemu some water. “Better than yesterday. Thank you.” Atemu said, sitting up in his bed. Solomon smiled. “That’s good to hear.” He said. “Now, I’ve got to run out to the store for a moment. Do you think you’ll hold up while I’m gone? Or do you think you might need something?” “No, I’m fine. Thank you again.” Atemu said. “You can go run your errand. Don’t worry about me.” “Alright then.” Solomon said and walked over, turning on a nearby TV. “I’ll leave this on so you can be entertained.” He handed Atemu the remote. “I’ll be back.” Solomon left the room and Atemu turned his focus to the TV. When Solomon turned it on, it was on the celebrity news. “The results are in for who won the competition between Red Petal and Egyptian Moon. And the winner is Egyptian Moon! The commercial will be up in three months.” Atemu smiled to himself as he heard that. He took a sip of his water. “Cat really did a great job that day.” He said to himself. “Since then, Red Petal’s popularity has dropped a little. Which means Kyofu has his eye on a new prey.” Atemu paused and listened carefully. “Kyofu, as everyone knows, is one of the top singers of his category. He has an attraction to young, popular pop stars and was previously aiming for Red Petal before she lost the competition. He stated last night that “Egyptian Moon had caught his eye”. He also said, “I’m not going to give up this time. Whatever I want, I get.” He sounds pretty determined to me.” The news woman said. “And as we all know, Egyptian Moon already has a boyfriend. His voice was almost as dark as he was. “It’s a pleasure to finally be able to meet you.” He glanced at Kay and Yugi. “I figured that you might have came alone, though.” Kay put her hands on her hips. “Hey, she’s a singer. Think of us like personal bodyguards.” She said. “We’re her friends.” Yugi added in. Kyofu raised an eyebrow. “I see.” He said, uninterested with Kay and Yugi. He turned his attention back to Cat. “I heard that you recently beat Red Petal in a competition.” “Yes.” Cat said. “Congratulations.” Kyofu said with a deceiving smile. “T-thank you.” Cat said, feeling uneasy. Kyofu then took a moment to briefly examine Cat. “I never thought I’d see a pop singer going to school in a school uniform and everything.” He said before looking Cat in the eye. “I find it very…sexy.” He looked down at the short blue skirt that Cat wore, that was a part of the Domino High School girl’s uniform before looking back up at Cat. “It would look even better if we were caught in a heavy rain.” He stated. Cat twitched at his statements, speechless and shocked. Kay and Yugi frowned before stepping in front of Cat. “Okay, you’re coming on a little too strong.” Yugi said sternly. “Yeah. Sorry to burst your bubble, but she’s engaged. So stop hitting on her!” Kay snapped. Kyofu frowned for a moment before smirking. “Whatever.” He said before turning to leave. “I don’t care.
