Korono sat up. The white and red blur he saw before was sitting in a chair on the other side of the room. He had spikes coming out of each side of his head and wore a black and white sweater and jeans.

Hedgehog: My name is Hazard

Korono: Mine's Korono. That name suits you.

Hazard: *smiles*

Korono: Where.... am I?

Hazard: You're in a hospital. Two of you ribs were fractured when you took that hit. Sorry I didn't jump in sooner.

Korono: It's alright.

Korono looked around for the first time since he woke up. The room was pretty plain. There was a TV in the direction his hospital bed faced, and he was hooked up to a bunch of equipment. His side was bandaged up, and it throbbed in pain constantly.

Hazard: I see a lot of potential in your strength and fighting style. Have you fought before this?

Korono: No.... I guess not.

Hazard: Amazing. But I suggest you take this and keep it with you at all times, just in case another one of those monsters attacks you again.

He stood up from his seat and walked towards Korono. In a burst of light, a sword appeared in his hand.

Korono: Wow! How did you do that?!

Hazard: I forgot.

Korono laughed as he took the sword. He set it down right next to his bed and thanked him.

Hazard: I got to go. I'll come back in three days to see how your doing. To make sure your still in one piece, ya know?

Hazard was gone in a flash. Korono felt a sense of admiration at his amazing speed. There was also something about him that contradicted how young he looked.

Korono: *thinks to himself* Interesting......

Korono lay back down and fell asleep.
