It was cold and bright. The water was freezing and the sky was a pale gray. Rigid winds blew across the barren, dry, ice. They were finally at the arctic circle and they could see a purple blue crack in the sky, clear as anything.

Eclipse: I'm cold.

Korono: Strangely, I'm not.

Kaota: Look above.

The group looked up. A mass of oza streamed out of the rip in the sky. An odious voice echoed through the rip in the sky.

???: There he is!

The oza directed their selves at the group of strangers.

Korono: What do we do?

Kaota: We will have to dodge through the oza and find our way inside.

Korono: We all can't come.

Korono and Kaota looked at Eclipse and Flash. They both smiled and politely claimed that they were fine with staying on the ground and fighting them off.

Korono: Are you sure?

Flash: Yes, we can handle it.

Korono: Okay. *turns to Kaota* Let's go.

Korono leaped onto Kaota's back and his magnificent wings began flapping. They rose off the floor. A hand darted out from nowhere and brought them back down.

???: You aren't going anywhere. The queen has promised to give me a little something in return if I give her that necklace of yours.

They all turned around. A tall black and blue penguin loomed over them.
Kaota sent a punch at him before the blink of an eye. He caught it and smiled.

???: I don't think so.

A flaming chaos sphere came from nowhere and struck at the penguin. It was lodged deeply in his arm and he grunted in pain. He turned around and saw a white hedgehog with red streaks.

Hazard: I don't think so.

???: You bastard!

Hazard: My name is Hazard.

???: Hydro.

Hydro took the chaos spear from his arm and threw it onto the floor.

Korono and Kaota took advantage of the situation and hastily flew up into the air where the masses of oza still remained.

Hydro turned towards them, but another chaos spear flew right in front of his face.

Hazard: Don't even think about it.

Hydro: You seem like a worthy opponent. This will be an interesting battle. Fire versus water.

Flash and Eclipse stood in the background, still taking in what just happened.

Hydro and Hazard turned towards each other and the ice was blown around them. A fierce air was created and amidst all of it, there were a multitude of oza charging toward them.

Two long swords appeared in Hazard's hands, and Hydro drew a broad sword.
