Korono: Behind you.

Kaota looked back and another oza was following him. He did a maneuver and was behind the oza. He made short work of it, and knocked him out with a swipe of his hand. The rip in the sky was only a few meters away now. The oza around him tried to prevent them from entering and lunged at them in the air. Kaota dodged and now the rip in the sky was in his grasp.

Kaota: We made it.

They entered inside and immediately, they fell from the purple sky. They plunged down and landed on reddish dirt. Korono spat dirt from his mouth and looked around. Oza was kind of like earth. There were pure white trees in the distance, and even farther away, it appeared like there was a city. But for now they were stuck in a desolate red desert.

Korono: Where do we go?

Kaota: *points toward the city* Over there.

They began walking towards the direction Kaota pointed.


Korono and Kaota entered the large city and tons of oza were poured out onto the street. They seemed to be shopping.

Kaota: Just keep walking.

They received stares from the shopping oza. Korono tried not to stare back at them as they rushed through the streets. But then, a tall oza turned around from a cart he was buying some meat from.

???: Kaota?! It's your brother Ralo!

Kaota: Leave me alone!

Kaota started to walk faster and Ralo followed.

Korono: You didn't tell me you had a brother!

Kaota: I would rather you not know about him.

Korono: Why is that?

Ralo: Did you bring it back?!

Ralo was now catching up with them. Kaota didn't answer.

Ralo: Answer me!

It was right then, Ralo found the glimmer of Korono's necklace and immediately yelled.

Ralo: The stranger has it!

Ralo stopped and flew in front of their faces. His hand darted out to grab the necklace. Korono blocked his hand.

Kaota: This way!

They ran into a dark alley between two giant, pointy buildings. Ralo followed. And then, Bam! Kaota turned around and struck him. He was on the floor holding his face instantly. Then, Kaota grabbed Korono and they made a right turn into another alley.
A blue bobcat with brown patterns on her fur sat using the wall of a building for back support. She was listening to her ipod.

Korono: Who-

???: Tala.

Kaota: Do you mind if we hide here?

Tala: Nah.

They sat silently in the alleyway.
