Tala trampled on in a field of tall gray plants. She heard a rustle and looked behind her. She took out her wand and perked up her ears for any trace of sound.

EAHHHHHHHHH!

A strage greenish no eyed humanoid monster thing leaped out of a clump of some of the plants and reached out for tala's neck with it's claws. Tala barely got out of the way in time and the thing landed behind her. And then, it was hidden again. She tried to heighten her alertness and looked around.

EAHHH!

The thing leaped out at her once more and she hit it with a loud blast of music. It screeched again as it sailed through the air. It landed away from her sight, hidden in the foliage.

She concentrated hard and tried to remember what she learned about her powers lately and thought of her favorite song. She sung it in her head and the louder she sang, the louder it actually was, sending out waves of music and flattening the plants. The greenish thing was ducking and covering it's earholes. Tala kept the song pulsating and flattening the plants and she ran for the creature. She balled up her fists and shot an incredible punch in the thing's face.

It flew back, knocked off it's feet. It also seemed that it was very fragile, and its neck snapped when tala's fist made contact with its face.

Tala: Well i didnt mean to do all of that.

A hand touched her shoulder and she was startled. A familiar face was behind her and he was smiling. It was alex, thank goodness.

Alex: Sorry i scared you.

Tala: It's fine. What can i help you with?

Alex wiped the smile off his face immediately and replaced it with a serious look.

Alex: its about your sister.

Tala also adopted the same serious look on her face.
