The next morning Gina awoke stretching her arms up into the air and slamming them onto the roof, she was laying on top of the large canope bed. But it didn't seem to faze her as she clawed her way down the bedpost. She walked all fours over to the closet and sat in the warm sunlight filtering in through the window.
With another stretch of her body and a roar of a yawn she stood up stracthing her head, she through open her closet door and pulled out a dark navy skirt and with school shirt. Also hanging on the shirt was a large red bow around the neck, it reminded her of the blue bow that was on her tail minus the bell of course. She pulled off her dark blue sleeping shorts and replaced them with the skirt, she then unbuttoned the shirt and placed it over the white cami she had on before. When she was all buttoned and dressed she rushed to the bathroom, she brushed her hair and then braded the end loosely. She washed her face and brushed her teeth.
DING! DONG!
She rushed out into the hall and ran for her front door, she peaked out of window and saw all the Mew's standing around the door with Nash right next to the door. Gina rushed back towards her bedroom and grabbed the long knee high socks. She pulled them on as she hopped towards the closet to grab her shoes and her backpack.
"Gina!" she heard muffled yells as she hurried back down the hall, a few of the Mew's were looking into the window.
"I'm coming! I'm coming!" Gina snapped back as she grabbed her keys from the hook on the wall.
She opened the front door and joined the others, they were all wearing the same outfit as her. She locked her door and walked with them down the dirt road towards the town. The town was rather fuller this morning then it was when she was there yesterday, people were ducking in and out of stores like crazy around them. There was also many other people dressed like them in the street, groups of about 5 or 6 of them standing everywhere.
"Hey Girls!" Leo yelled from a group of boys, he came running over to them joining their group, then his voice was a whisper "Haven't seen any activity from the aliens? But Kish was in the area last night, any of you see anything weird?"
"No," the others said together but Gina fell quiet.
"Gina?" Leo said to her with a smile "see anything?"
"N-no!" she lied as they got closer to the school.
"Oh, well. Be on your toes Mew's we don't need any problems today." Leo smiled. "Gina, do you have Mini Mew with you? He should let you know if anything is going wrong."
"Sure, Leo." Gina sighed with a weak smile. "I'll keep an eye out."
"Okay, see you later Mew's."
Leo returned to another group as the Mew's headed into the school. Kisa and Mikayla headed towards the west side of the school for their first class, Lacia headed up the stairs to meet her BF Matt before class began and finally Nash took Gina to the office to get her class list before heading off to her own class.
Gina stood in the office looking around before the lady behind the desk asked her if she needed help. Gina weakly smiled and aproached the counter.
"I'm Gina Marie, I'm new here and I need my class list."
"Oh, here we go." the lady shuffled through papers and handed Gina a paper and then another smaller paper with a locker number on it. "Now, your first class is right upstairs but I can give you a pass in case you want to go to your locker." she then reached behind the desk and handed Gina a large pile of books. "These are your books for Science, Math, and English. Plus, here is a uniform for gym."
"Thanks," Gina said pulling the books into her hands and carried them out into the hallway, it was empty as the classes had begun and everyone was in the rooms.
Gina climbed the stairs to the upper deck, her locker was the closest on to the library right around the corner from the stairs. She twisted the lock and opened the locker without even looking at the code. She through her book into the bottom of the locker and grabbed the science book slipping it into her backpack.
"Hey," a voice behind her startled her.
She quickly turned around and saw a boy standing behind her, he had long green dark hair that reached his shoulders. He was smiling at her and she could feel that her face was blushing.
"Hey Cat Girl." he snickered.
"What?" Gina siad sharply.
He pointed to her head and Gina's hand reached up touching the fuzzy ear.
"Oh," she giggled "My headband," she lied "Totally forgot to take them off." she turned back to her locker and took a few deep breaths "There all better."
"New here?" the boy asked as she began to walk down the hall "me too."
"My names Gina," she stammered.
"Dren." he smiled, shacking her hand "what class do you have?"
"Science," Gina said showing him her list.
"Oh, well," Dren said looking down at the list "We have Gym together."
Gina felt her face blush again, he smiled at he as he brushed her arm with his.
"Then I'll see you then Kitty-Kat."
Gina saw her class and she quickly saw the moment to duck in. Dren waved goodbye as she shut the door and turned to the class. Everyone was staring at her as she stood against the door.
"Can I help you?" the teacher snapped as he glared at her from the blackboard.
"Um, I'm new here." Gina stammered " And this is my first class."
"Well, Ms. Gina take a seat next to Ms Lacia and open your book up to page 16 and try to keep up."
Gina slipped to the back of the class and took her seat, Lacia smiled as they tried to listen to the teacher drone on and on about the DNA. Gina pulled out a piece of paper and tried to take notes but ended up doodling all over the page until the year-long 45 minutes ended. When the bell rang Gina hopped from her seat ready to run for the door.
"Nice drawings, Snowy." Lacia smiled as Gina tried to stuff her book into her back quickly "Not a Science girl, huh?"
"No," Gina smiled "So? Lunch?"
"Sure, we'll eat outside." Lacia smiled. "Oh Gina, this is Matt."
On the other side of Lacia was a boy standing there with his hand wrapped around hers, he was smiling at Gina but she just glanced up at him.
"Hi!" she said as she continued to push the book into the bag. "Sorry Lacia but I've got to run."
"Just control yourself, girl." Lacia smiled with a wink "See you at lunch!"
Gina left the room and headed back towards her locker, she through the door open and grabbed the small english book. Then she rushed back down the stairs and into her English class. She met Nash at the front row of the class and they talked a while before they started reading from the small book; Romeo and Juliet. That class flew by quickly from all the reading and Gina was very excited to be heading to Gym to see Dren. She told Nash about eatting lunch outside and then walked out into the crowded hallway. She walked slowly towards the office again where she remembered seeing a sign pointing towards the gym.
"Hey Kitty-Kat." a voice said as she pasted the office door "What's up?"
"Oh," she jumped back slightly "Hey Dren. I wish I could talk ore but I....have....to go get ready for class."
She walked into the locker room and grabbed a locker, she quickly undressed and redressed into her gym uniform. She ran out of the locker room into the bright gym.
"Hey Gina!" she heard a voice yelling across the whole gym.
"Hey, Leo!" Gina waved as she slightly jogged over towards him, she did a few back flips over the floor and stopped right in front of Leo. "God it feels good in here, so nice and warm. I'm so full of energy!"
"Calm down, you're getting to excited." Leo smiled "Any news from Mini Mew."
"He's been saying Alien Alert all morning but he can't seem to find it." Gina smiled "But I'm sure he'll find him soon, its probably Kish! God I hate him so much!"
"Talking about me?" a smooth voice said in her ear "Secrets don't make friends."
Gina gasped and turned around, Dren was standing right behind her smiling. He was leaning on one foot dressed in a tight tank top and black shorts, almost matching the clothes she was wearing. Gina felt her face turning hot just standing next to her but she didn't have time to say anything for the coach came into the gym shouting to them.
"Okay, students." he smiled as they all lined up and Dren stood next to her "Welcome to the first day of gym and we're going to run the obstical course," the class groined loudly "So whose first?"
Gina hand shot into the air and then so did Dren's, they both walked out of the crowd and Gina stood on the start line. Dren got down in a starting pose and Gina followed.
"On my call!" the coach said, "One, two, three..." he blew on a whistle and Gina jumped forward.
The first obstacal was a rope ladder, she clawed her way up the rope and down the other side. Dren was right at her side as they fell down the rope ladder, they dove into the rock wall just as easy but Gina lost him on the army crawl. Soon it was over and Gina was the winner, Dren slapped her on the back as they let the others run the race.
"So nice race," Dren said as the other ran the race and they stepped back from the crowd. "You were like a cat, jumping through all that stuff."
"Yeah, funny how that stuff happens." Gina laughed slightly trying not to look him in the eyes.
Well after everyone ran the race Gina headed towards the locker room doors with Dren, he had her wrapped in his arm laughing. Gina was still burning up from blushing.
"Well Gina, I'll see you later." Dren said as they stopped in front of the girl's locker room.
"Sure." Gina smiled blushing.
Dren reached in and kissed her. He wrapped his hands in hers. Gina brushed her hand over his cheek and stopped, she pulled away and saw that he had claw marks on his cheek.
"Just a cat stratch," Dren smiled taking her hadn away from his face "My pet Jojo. Little fight in him."
Gina stepped back from him. But when she saw that his lie wasn't working he let a grin show.
"Gina, my little kitty-kat," he snapped his fingers and transformed "Or should I say Mew mew Snow."
Kish stood in front of her and his clawed hands were innertwined with hers. Then with another quick pull he wrapped around her with his hands on the mid of her back.
"Kish!" Gina snapped "what are you doing here?"
"Checking up on my little kitty," he said brushing her face "Making sure my baby isn't looking at other men."
Gina jumped back kicking Kish in the gut, out of her pocket flew mini mew.
"Mini Mew, go get the others and tell them I need them!" Gina said pushing him through the air.
"Your going to need it!" Kish siad as he through a predisite into the air.
"There's not anything for him to grab onto." Gina snapped.
But as the predisite flew into the air it, Gina looked around and the predisite flew into the wall.
"Now kitty don't think she's going to come between us?" Kish snapped.
Gina grabbed her pendent and transformed into her mew mew. But as she landed she heard other screams and a large purple cat girl jumped out of the locker room. It slide to a stop in front of Gina and stared at her.
"Goodbye kitty!"
The cat jumped at Gina but Gina jumped higher, she leap-frogged over it's back and attacked Kish. When Gina got Kish pinned the creature stopped.
"I see you trained her better then me." Gina growled. "Kitty no hurt her owner."
Then there was a big explosion, the other mew ran in.
"Gina, you okay?"
"Sure, guys just handle Miss Kitty!" Gina jumped up as the others fought the purple cat.
Kish jabbed at her with his fist trying to fight her off.
"Gina, we need your finishing blow."
Gina pushed Kish back and shouted "Metmorpho-rang!" the blue boomerang appeared and Gina pointed it at the creature, "Ribbon Snow!"
With the last blue light that filled the room the creature was gone and a girl laid on the floor in front of them.
"Get out of here, Kish!" Gina shouted as the other Mew's trnaformed back into human>
"Until next time my sweet!" Kish said and disappeared.
Gina transformed back into human and headed out of the gym with them.
