The golem didn't stand a chance. It suddenly became really confident and it's fear completely disappeared. It leaped at Jake swiped its arm at him. Jake simply held up left arm and completely stopped the attack. With his right arm, he punched the arm and it completely shattered when his fist made contact. He disappeared and reappeared in the golem's face. In midair, he did a spin and let out a lightning fast kick in it's face. It was knocked clean off and slammed into the road far behind it's body. Still high in the air, Jake flipped forward with his leg extended and smashed the body into pieces.

As soon as he landed on the ground, he walked over to marina. She slipped into unconsciousness as he neared her because she felt completely safe with him and could rest fine with him around now.

Jake picked her up and went to her house.

He entered through her room window and set her down in her bed. He didn't think she would mind if he broke into her house under the circumstances.

He jumped from the window and landed on the soft grass in front. He began walking to his own house. He began walking down the sidewalk lining the street.

The earth began rumbling once again. Except this time, a door emerged from the ground in an ominous red light.

Marina burst through her door and dashed up by Jake.

Marina: Jake, are you okay? Do you know what that door leads to?

Jake: Laeko's world.

Marina: How did you know that? Well it doesn't matter, get away!

Door: His true name is Abyss. And he is my nephew.

Marina: That can't be true.

Abyss: Yes, it is.

Abyss's once red fur turned pitch black and his fur grew twisted and long.

Marina: Can you explain this to me?

Abyss: I don't know why, but ever since 4:00 today, I've found out the answers to all of my questions.

Marina: Who is speaking from the door?

Abyss: Laeko.

Laeko: Abyss, come...

The door opened, but on the other side, there was blackness.

Abyss gave a look at Marina, and it seemed to say, "I'll explain later"

Abyss stepped through the door and it began to close.

Marina: You can't leave me!

Marina ran through the door behind him. Into the darkness...
