Marina was completely alone and this part of the city was desolate and barren. Everyone escaped and the only thing probably left here was the creature. And it had to be one creature because she just receive a text message from Abyss stating that he and forest defeated two monsters. Which meant that three remained, and they were probably split between the north and south vacinities.

???: You and your friends cannot defeat us. Your three remaining enemies are the strongest. And out of those three, I am the strongest. My name is Frost.

A tall humanoid winged furred dragon thing stepped out of a dark alley to her right. Marina could sense it's immense power level and sent Abyss a quick text message calling for help. "I'll b there soon" He texted back.

The dragon spat an icicle at her. She jumped up and it became lodged into the ground. It spat out another one. She flipped in midair and deflected the icicle with her foot. She launched a beam of her blue energy at it, and it merely stepped to the side to avoid it. She landed on the ground and the dragon breathed out it's icy breath. She sprung up to avoid it, but even though it barely made contact with her, it froze her leg and spread to her entire body. At her hand, her energy glowed brighter and brighter and then it burst out and cleared the ice from her enitire body. With her superior speed, she rushed the dragon and sent a punch at it's face. The dragon grabbed her wrist and froze her solid, not ice covered her, I mean, solid.

Dragon: That was easy.

The dragon tipped her over and she fell to the floor. Surprisingly, she didn't break into pieces. But that was even worse for Marina. The dragon held it's foot above her, about to break her for sure.

THUD!

Abyss's sword landed right where they dragon once stood, and it flew into the air. Abyss glided down to marina and stood next to her. He emanated a constant flow of controlled fire from his body and gradually, it melted her.

Dragon: You'll pay for interfering!

The dragon plummeted down towards him.

Abyss: You'll pay for fighting someone with the fire element!

Abyss clapped his hands together. Then he arced them apart again, creating a sheet of pure fire. The dragon swooped up again.

Marina: Abyss... thank you....

Abyss: It's alright. Stay here while your strength returns.

Abyss grabbed his sword and sailed upwards, leaving a trail of fire in his wake. The dragon created a sword from ice and held it in a ready position. Their swords clanged together, creating a huge spark and making the dragon fly upwards a little. He let out a barage of attacks on the dragon, and it blocked everyone of them. They traded slashes and parries for a while until he eventually got tired.

Abyss: Argh...

Dragon: Getting tired, child?

Abyss: Actually, I am. And that makes me impatient. And that is not a good thing for you.

Abyss concentrated his fire into his sword, making it glow orange with heat and he struck the dragon's ice sword one final time, shattering it and the dragon plummeted downwards.

Marina put everything she had into one final explosion of energy which obliterated all traces of the dragon.

Abyss flew down and landed on the ground.

Abyss: Thanks.

Marina said nothing. She grabbed him and gave him a huge hug.
