As she hopped down the spiral stairs on one foot, clinging the barrier for dear life, tears started to run down her face. Tears of shock, tears of fear and tears of pain. She reached the basement. He was there again, looking into a sphere shaped ball, which was glowing. He heared her behind him and turned around. Her hand met with his cheek, and he jumped backwards.
"What is your problem?!!" she screamed. "I know you were mad, I understand that, but you didnt have to go turn Donna into a human killing machine! God!!! Do you know how scared you made me?!!!"
"Scared for Donna?"
"Scared for Kai aswell! I dont want anyone to die! Not anyone who doesnt deserve it!"
"Right..." He approached her and grabbed her by the arm, and tried to drag her away.
"Hey, what are you doing? stop it!" He dragged her down a corridor and threw open the door to a cell and threw her inside. He then locked the door. She screamed in protest, as loud as she could, but he then walked off and left her alone in the dark.
That night, the bladebreakers we're eating dinner and discussing their defeat.
"I cant believe they beat us in all 3 rounds!!" Tyson yelled at the top of his lungs.
"Calm down Tyson!" yelled Kenny. "They agreed to re-do the last two matches, due to what happened to Kai."
Kai had been let out of hospital that day, with bandages. But he couldnt do anything properly yet, including run. He was now sitting with his team, but not listening to their conversation. Suddenly he got up.
"Kai, where are you going?" said Tyson
"Ill be back in am hour maximum." Said Kai, leaving the hotel. Tyson tried to run after him, but Rei stopped him.
"Let him go" Rei said.
Kai knew exactly where he was going. His curiosity was once again, leading him to the Abbey. He sneaked past the guards and managed to enter through the celler entrance. He walked down the dark corridors, until his footsteps were getting close to the cell she was locked up in. Then she heared him.
"Adam?! Is that you?! Adam, let me go!!!"
Out of curiosity, Kai walked over to the cellar.
"Gilraen, what are you doing here?!"
"Im locked in!"
"Ill help you get out then. I owe you one for saving my life. Thanks."
"It was nothing, really. Now how are you going to get me out. Adam has the key and itll take ages to get it from him."
"Do you realise which cell you're in?"
"No..."
"In one cell, my grandfather planted the keys to all the cells in the building. You're in that cell!"
"Where are they?"
"Pull out the loose brick in the wall behind you!"
Gilraen did so and found the keys in the gap. She handed them to kai and he unlocked the door.
"Thanks."
"Dont mention it. Come on, we have to get out of here!" They both snuck out of the cellar and out the exit.
"I never knew there was an exit here! I always went down the stairs! How did you know there was one?!"
They started running to the main gate. The pain in their legs was incredible but they still ran
"Valtaire, the man in charge of this place, is my grandfather!"
"What?!" Gilraen stopped.
"Come on!" Kai ran ahead of her while she caught her breath for a moment, then she followed him.
Adam was in the security camera room, watching them.
"Close the gate!" He ordered
Kai ran out of the gate, Gilraen was about to follow, when the gate slammed down. She was trapped.
"Kai!!!" Kai turned around. "Try to climb the gate!" He ordered. He put his arm through the bar and gave her a leg up to the first bar, but the gate was very high.
"Come on!" Kai was getting impatient. They mustve let the gate down because they saw them coming, which meant they didnt have much time. Gilraen looked past Kai and gasped.
"Kai, run!" Two security guards had jumped out behind Kai. He looked back at her. "Go, Kai! Ill be ok!"
"Ill come back tomorrow!" Kai jumped and ran past the two security guards, who tried to follow, but weren't fast enough, and escaped.
