I'm really sorry for my lame-ness, I hope it was worth the wait.
I really like how this came out especially concerning the colours.
The river's ground was made by using the stamp tool and layer effects. ;) Other parts of the background are done with selfmade brush tips.
I was painting digital again. I don't know all the tricks that make digital painting easy and fast that's why I'm pretty slow with them still. I guess it took me something around 15 h or so but I'm happy with the result. It was worth the work.
That little guy there is a Bloom-Dragon. Their colours are not the same in every area where they life they can accustom theri look to the flowers which are growing where they are.
This dragon species is very small and light and they can be compared with orchid mantis concerning their look. But they don't eat insects they just search for nectar and use their look to don't be seen while eating.
The lily on the picture is a "Stargazer Lily". They have awesome colours.
I had a few reverence photos for the lilies.
Oh and I'm sorry for my lack of replies in the last time, I will try to catch up with my messages soon!]]>Assassin's Soul by SuziDragonladyurn:uuid:58cb89cc-5299-b3d7-a09f-6ca54d9b92ba2009-04-13T15:41:22-07:00... first, can you find my signature??? XD (not the copyright-line!)
Ehh, something very VeRy VERY unusual from me, ha? I mean, it's a human and it is painted... XD
I just wanted to get some training for the two things I think I'm the worst at. :)
Digital Painting and Human characters, yes.
Oh and yes there we have Altaïr out of Assassin's Creed, I mentioned that the game is pretty inspiring, the right thing for my "try-out" somehow. I think I did not fail totally.
Maybe I will paint more digitally in the future, because I somehow did find out what I always made wrong until now during the process of this. :)
All completely created in PS CS2 with my Graphire 4 tablet, I started with a brush tool-scratch followed by colour filled areas, added all the rest with just the brush tool, different colours and oppacities. ;)
