I did this for a friend on deviantART a long time ago, I really liked it though.
I used this nice ink pen my Nan gave me, and like my Blue Tiger drawing, I washed it over with a little bit of water where it needed to be.The Princes Stronghold by AdonisBlueurn:uuid:2b2990e4-afe4-44df-444c-5dd6012e26152005-09-13T09:41:37-07:00I saw a photo of this in a book I have of Scottish Red deer, it took me about two days to complete. I liked how the coat churned out and I was trying to get a more bleak/blank look for the backgroun hoping that it wouldn't be as eye catching and would make you look more at the Deer, so I hope I managed to get that right. XD
I did this a while ago and have yet to turn it into a print over on dA.Blue Tiger by AdonisBlueurn:uuid:5b28fb9c-2cb9-080d-7d85-c5bd393b5f8d2005-09-10T05:44:12-07:00I saw this lovely zoo tiger photo ages ago, therefore found myself drawing this. I later gave the Blue Tiger drawing to my friend as a gift.
Whether you want to believe it or not, this took me nearly 3 days to complete even though it looks sketchy and dosn't have that much to it. I used just normal blue ink and whilst it was still drying I washed some water over the ink marks very lightly with a fine paintbrush.Eagle Head by AdonisBlueurn:uuid:f53e2d03-0116-755b-d414-47ea9fc1cb402005-09-10T05:31:57-07:00I have an animal book with real photos of birds & animals, when I picked the book up I noticed the Eagle on it and decided it would be a good photo to help me brush up my bird/feather drawings. I was going to do the full body, but at the time I felt dissapointed with the entire piece and gave up, after a while of looking at it from time to time, I've come to really like it.Intense Stare by AdonisBlueurn:uuid:a08352f3-79d3-5eec-067f-4182ad62c31d2005-09-10T05:22:36-07:00This is a drawing I did of GuitarJohnny's photo (off of deviantART) the link to the photo is here : http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/16549287/.

Note that he did give me permission to draw his drawings.

I resized it down a little because it was a little over the limit, so it has lost a bit of it's detail and become a little more blurred.Tarja : Nightwish by AdonisBlueurn:uuid:bb2a6ec2-39e7-26ba-057d-8cab6b0c0d952005-09-09T11:46:41-07:00I found this lovely photo of Tarja from Nightwish online a little while ago and instantly fell inlove with it, the lighting was perfect and I wanted to try and see if I could get it to match. Although I went a bit cock-handed with her cheekbone I managed to correct it as best as I could (I had already started to shade heavy before noticing).

Other than that, all I used for this piece was a range of pencils and some good 'ol blu tack, I think it must be my lucky blu tack, it's been with me for ages.Lukka Luddesdottir by AdonisBlueurn:uuid:53c603a6-52a8-7b01-9cab-aeb6e964c7ee2005-09-09T07:21:32-07:00Photo Reference : http://www.deviantart.com/view/11796862/
I did ask Wazabees whether I could draw this darling little kitten and he agreed, it took me many months though and a lot of re-starting of the drawing to get it just right. I spent a lot of time over this and finally after finishing it I have come to learn of how I am happy drawing fur. After scanning I noticed border lines I had added to determine where I would put my paper when I bought the frame, but funny enough I can't really see them on the actual drawing so I think the scanner has just darkened a lot of the lighter pencil work.
Art tools :
For this drawing I used a range of equipment they are :- Derwent graphic H, 4H, 9H, HB, 2B, 6B and 9B pencils. Karisma Graphite Aquarelle medium, soft and very soft leaded pencils. A progresso 4B graphite stick (came in very very handy for the eyes). Daler~Rowney heavy weight paper. A blending stump. A putty rubber and a good ol' ereaser. Aswell as a bit of blu tack.
