The original is 2 feet by four feet on wood, painted in acrylic. I just thought it would be entertaining and hopefully funny to take Marlon Brando's character from The Wild One, and sick him next to a speeder bike from star wars instead of his traditional bike.I hope you get a kick out of it. At the moment, and i mean this, I'm trying to figure out a description to put on this painting. But I saw a giant spider in my studio earlier, and now don't know his location. I'm not the smallest man, but there's absolutely nothing manly about me when i know there's a big, hidden spider somewhere in the room, whom I'd previously tried to exterminate.
He was big enough to have a glint showing in his eyes from like fifteen feet away folks!]]>Benverine by timothyjasonwrighturn:uuid:76530ded-7de7-d992-b0f7-42e79f161bbe2011-10-04T02:08:59-07:00Original is 2 feet by four on wood in acrylic.
Yep, you guessed it. Ben Vereen mixed with Wolverine, which is of coarse, Benverine...get it? . I told some friends i was going to do this a while back. No one got it right off, but I did it anyway :)]]>Bily Wonka by timothyjasonwrighturn:uuid:dcbb505d-3d0b-a000-4ac7-8cecd7f0226f2011-10-02T11:10:05-07:00http://jasonwrightstudios.com/home.html
Original done on 16x20 canvas in acrylic. When I recently saw Daniel Day Lewis' first scene in Gangs of New York, his towering top hat immediately made me think of Willy Wonka. I thought, "why not mix them?"
But what to do for a background idea to tie it all together. Why, an 1863, 35 star American flag made of delicious chocolate.]]>Edward Edward Scissorhands Hands by timothyjasonwrighturn:uuid:aef88733-c829-97fe-93d6-647b458fc6932011-10-02T11:10:04-07:00http://jasonwrightstudios.com/home.html
original done on 16x20 canvas in acrylic. I'm not sure how to describe this one outside of saying that it was just a painting idea i blurted out to someone some time ago. "Edward Edward Scissorhands Hands," I said. Sounded funny enough so I painted this sucker up. I hope you like it. Painted on a 2 foot by 4 panel in acrylics.
I really had fun doing this. I wanted to do a Data from Star Trek TNG painting. But i just HAD to mix him with Data from Goonies. Pincers of Peril, oil slick shoes, tricorder and all.]]>
