Ooo, you mean THIS artwork? www.kh2.co.uk/image.php?view=kh/artwork/025.jpg *I had to show it to my mom, she gave me a funny look* |
Ne'ermind! They were just hiding along the wall. (I feel stupid now, cos that was the first place I looked! Aaaaagh!) |
lol That's what I said! ^_____^ |
WAAAAAAAH! ALL MY PBC PIPES ARE GONE!! |
The officialart of Riku in his KH1-darksuit is a pretty good one... I'll see if I can find it for you and post a link on ur profile (supposing u don't beat me to it by then :3) and I'll go see if I can find the pic I used... it's on my computer.... ssooommeeewwhheehhrree.... I remember it was really hard to find back then... (a screenshot of Ansem/Riku sitting on the pipes of HB b4 u fight him 4 the 2nd time) |
Really... they're not that heavy... (pick up about 4" one from box and swings real fast) PBC Pipe:*whoooooooosh* Did you use a reference for this? I so... can you give me one? (needs to make 1 of these 4 halloween) |
All I ever crafted 4 cosplay are gunblades, buster/long swords and nuchakus...... |
They're closed. I take real special care to do that, cause "3D" objects need to look cool /from ALL sides/. *realizes should have photographed the keyblades edge-on & end-on, too* 0_o Yeah... I think they're called PBC-pipes. I got a coupple of those--- my mom /would've/ thrown them out too (cause me'n my bros here kept crack'n eachother on the head with them. T_x) but we needed them for yardwork. I actually /did/ come up with a design that uses /nothing but/ them, a couple years ago, but it would be /so/ much work to build that I never made any. Aaaand, they wouldn't really be as spiffy-look'n. And they'd be REALLY heavy, and probably, even ACTUALLY useable as weapons!!! 0.o I'll post the sketch I did, 'soon as I find it... *shifty eyes* ...it's in an old binder somewhere... -o_-o o-_o- Roxas?? It's just the Organization coat & a better way to make the beads (than the way I already have posted e_e). 'Can be /any/ member you want! :-) (I suppose Roxas too---- Roxas is AWESOME!!!!!) XD Yeah, I'll get it up for you...but it might take me the weekend to do it. :-\ But, SOOOOOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I /sweare/ upon it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *goes insane* %-P You: Ok ok ok! *knocks me unconcious* Me: zzzzzzzzzzzzz Q~_~ My brother: *hides 100 firecrackers in my slippers* My cat: *sets-off irecrackers in slippers when tries to sleep on them, and discovers they were only stuffed with fortune-cookie-sized leaflets*... "Fortune-Cookie Leaflet Say: trippletrouble3 paintz guud cheez!" ^______^ (thank you again for that.... *is very gratified* ...sorry, it just feels weird to me when people give me things. *doesn not know what to say besides "thanks" and *eats cheese**) So, THANK YOU! *eats the never-deminishing cheese* :-) ...On the other hand, the uninfinite plate's another story. *chomp* :-x |
Eh. Go figure. (I ::still:: want your Roxas cosplay. Can i have it??) Have you ever considered making one out of those big white poles you can get at Home Depot? I have an old one about 4" (my mom had to make a big flag for me for this one costume thingy, but the pole was 10" long.) THOSE make really cool swishy noises when ya swing 'em real fast. They're a little heavier than wrapping paper tubes, but are EXTRAMLY durable, and I think one of the only ways you can break them is running them over with and 18 wheeler. Try using one of those, I wonder what the result would be with that? (ponders) Another question, when you make these, are the ends covered, or are they just open? |
Naaah... I jaust salvage them from the holidays. B-) I got a whole TON saved-up in my closet.....just in case. ^_~ (i used to think they were really rare when I was little, so I started saving them; but /then/ I found out it was just cause my mom kept throw'n em all out before me'n my bros had a started sword-fight'n w/ em! ...Buuuuut, now I have her convinced to let me keep a few for my insane projects, now that I'm actually /good/ at art. e_e *used to be really bad*) X-P It's only in the last couple of years that I've been able to start liking some of my own work. Perfectionists do have their limits after all! -----Or at least.... this one /here/ finally did. (me) :-) My first keyblade (a kingdom key) was made outta hot-glued toiletpaper rolls, poster paint, and balled-up tinfoil. x_T ...Not fun. I'm making a new kingdom key right now, but it might be while till I post any pics. I made the part just beyond the hilt all small and skinny, like Nomura did in the official art, but the glue I used to strengthen it is stronger than the cardboard itself, and therefore, keeps ripping it. (once I solve that, I can move on) Well, I guess that 's about it... ..blind_stranger, OUT! ^_^V ["end transmition"] :B |
