Sephiroth

I grew up in Indonesia with figures of a comforting, if somewhat scary looking bird idol by the name of Garuda. protector, messennger, and an ever alert prescence that watches over the stray people in the world and fearsom devourer of serpents. He has always been a curiosity in my life, and I am currently in the works in creating a manga based off this wonderful Diety born of Hindu legends but tied to all beliefs. However, I alwaysd pictured him as bearing a mask of a hideous bird visage. I figured there wouls be something much different under that mask.

I have heard of Garuda before and i have seen him with the mask but i had no idea that anyone could make him look so hot!!!!!

I've always really been into ancient civilizations, ancient gods and things like that. But i never really got any books on anything Asia wise. So when i first saw this, it made me think that i needed to start building up a collection with more Asian culture in it. I got the samurai books and everything, the books on Egyptian gods and culture, Greek and Roman as well. Now i need to look this guy up. The whole look is just breathe taking. He does look a litlte scary, but at the same time, i think i would find it comforting. Wonderful job, i really love this one.
