The ones who created the popular action race battle games starring Sonic the Hedgehog, the musical phenomenon of NiGHTS Into Dreams, the fantasy violence and mystery of Phantasy Star Online, and the highly overlooked wacky cartoon-like being of Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg had -as you may not know- earlier brought to life an...educational game...for SECOND GRADERS!!! Bum Buduh Buh BUM You'd think you could trust that speedy, blue, self-centered, star to do nothing but run, fight crime, and go around knocking cat food out of people's hands. But a few years earlier, he'd been teaching math and english. The worst part is, the game doesn't feature ANY familiar characters from the Sonic series except Sonic himself and Eggman. Sonic's friends in THIS game are a bunch of walking letters and numbers with eyes and little animals like zebras and rabbits. There's no chaos emeralds. You just get a gumball. (I'm not joking the key items in this game are gumballs) It's weird that I want to make an animation about a game that not only have I never played", but makes "Mario Teaches Typing look good. There's also an arcade game where you drive in a police car playing as Officer Sonic, but I won't get into that.... |
