God, Sunnyday, I love your artwork. Maes/Roy is the best couple there is simply by virtue of the dynamics involved; Maes needs someone to love unconditionally and Roy needs someone who can take charge once in a while so he has a chance to rest and take a break from his level of authority.
To those people who are so rude to dis this couple instead of just shaking their heads and walking away, this is FANART for crying out loud! Not everything revolves around canon; perhaps in this altiverse Maes decided that he loved Roy BEFORE he got involved with Gracia. Sheesh.
Sorry about ranting, anyway, back to the picture; I love the manga-style drawing, it adds to the feeling of the picture and makes it that much more "real" somehow. The look on Roy's face is priceless, our dear taisa looking so startled out of his usual confident control, that's what I love about Maes/Roy. =)
