Hm, well, I suppose it's where ever you want them to be living. If you think it should be goofy and stupid, then they can still live underwater. But if you're more on the factual side and think that they need air even if they are fictional, then they can live on land. Whatever the viewer find best for them. ^_^ That's how I always solve these problems. lol Hope I helped you! XD
