nah, i like it. i think it looks original coz the way it is coloured is not what you'd normally expect. Nice pic!

I certainly have read Eragon. The sword Zarroc does seem a bit strange. I thought about it when I saw this pic.

The red blade is, I admit, a bit strange, but I love the handle design.
