My sister really likes the book "The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles" by Julie Andrews Edwards. She had me read it, and I liked it, too. (Even though it is a book for younger kids! ^-^;) My favorite character from the book was a creature called the High-Behind Splintercat, so I decided to draw him. Here's part of a description from the book:

"It was a cat. But no ordinary cat. This one was as soft as a Persian kitten, yet as big and powerful as a mountain lion. He was silver grey with large velvet ears and glowing amber eyes."

He sounds so cuddly! =D
