Basically, my version of a thestral. It was sort of confusing to try and do what she wrote it - no flesh but with hide on the bones, and the bones showing through. >>;
Couldn't fit the full wing-size in though. :/ Still have to try Buckbeak or Inferi.
That is really cool. You drew it exactly as I'd pictured them--that's amazing. They totally should have used this as the concept for the "real thing" in the movies.
Whoa. This is amazing. I saw it and thought it looked interresting on the thumbnail. When i saw it blown up i nearly fell off my chair in shock. Its so scary! But amazing detail, and everything, so i had to fave it. bloody brilliant :D
i still think you did an amazing job on him even if you did run out of room for his wings :). This is exactly how I imagined the thestrals. Hopefully they will do them justice in the movie
Oh my word, are you psychic? That looks EXACTLY how I envision them! I think I'd die of fear if I saw one of those on a dark night! Especially if they had like glowing red eyes or something. I can't remember if they're supposed to or not - it has been a long time since I read HP5 - but I think that it's amazing!
those things are so ugly, but so cool! problem is, i wouldn't be able to see one... if i could i'd run and hide.. this is awesome! great job... i'm going to venture through the rest of your gallery now...
That is amazing. I know alot of people have said this but... it's exactly how I thought they should look! lol I tried to draw one. Yours is waaay better! Truly amazing. Definitely getting added to my faves!

If I turned up at Hogwarts and could suddenly see one of those, I'd probably wet myself.
