Drew this from the manga scene in Volume Three when Ed's braiding his hair shortly after fixing Al's armor. My first attempt at drawing his automail.<br />
I think I did his arm in the smaller pic better than I drew the hand . . .-_-;;<br />
And for the bigger pic, I royally messed up countless times . . .I'm not familiar with drawing that angle of his face . . .-_-;;<br />
The writing next to Ed says:<br />
"My mind went blank. All I could do was scream my lungs out. I couldn't bring myself to believe someone might save me. Then you showed up, Al. I realized if we don't take care of each other, no one else will."<br />
Drawing Ed's braid gave me hell, too. In the smaller pic it's too long, and I tried a bit of shading in the bigger pic . . .and failed horribly at it.<br />

I showed this drawing to my fifth-grade teacher (who now teaches at my high school) and she said she was glad the picture wasn't "violent" yet she disapproved of the look on Ed's face. NANI!?<br />
Some people are psycho like that.<br />
But overall, I think I did pretty well, if that's not saying too much.<br />
