Ok so the short answer for this pic is that i've been in comparative mythology too long.

the more extensive answer is the story that goes along with this pic. When the Romans were vastly expanding their empire they went into egypt, and where the people go their gods follow. So zuese and hades and all them were invading the land of Egypt and attacking their gods, and since they knew anubis to one of the most fearsome they sent the guardian of tartarus, cerberus, in to flush him out...and thats how you get this pic. Anubis hid behind the pillar waiting for Cerberus and seems to have gotten the drop on him. Root for whoever you want, almost all the people i've been talking to had said they want cerberus to win. i dont have an opinion i like them both.

hmmm i like both(cerberus is one of my fav greek/roman) but i have loved ancient egypt too long and rever thir culture too much so GO ANUBIS KICK HIS ASSS!!!!!!!
