Ok, first I really love his shoes beyond all reason. Because i really can't draw shoes very well.

But what's really wrong with you're picture or at least what seems off about it, is the fact that you have a really small head on a really lanky body. I have some problems with that too. So I try to draw out the shoulders only to a certian length, it it looks too wide in the sholders the whole picture is going to be off with me.

So, maybe when you start off (assuming you start with the head) try to keep it with in a certian length. That way it doesn't look so off when it's finished. :)
