okay, so some parts aren't necessary here, you could simply painWhite-paintColour-highligh-burn-highlight-paintWhite and be done with. 
this is for those who want to really get into details. 
BTW, each of these tutorials are done on their own layers 
and 
for those of you who do not work with a Wacom tablet, this can be extremly difficult and time consuming.
