This is a portrait I completed recently for a portrait drawing class I will be teaching in January for young people. I was trying to pick subjects they would be interested in drawing. I hope Avril will be one. Completed in graphite pencils 2b thru 6b on medium Strathmore paper 14x17.

ur drawing is really nice
this is a great work of art especially because she is smiling and it is difficult to draw people smiling or giving expressions

There is so much detail in this drawing! I love how you made her hair look slightly messy. It's those little things that make drawings more realistic.
