This isn't really the best drawing I've done, but it turned out really good, I think. I did this sketch during study hall because I was bored and needed something to do. Our school did the play The Outsiders, and I'm obsessed with it right now, so I thought, "Drawing Johnny would be fun." The knife next to him represents all the deaths that take place in the book/movie/play. (I don't want to give too much away, in case some people haven't read it yet...) Oh yeah, the thing in his mouth is a cigarette. And the line on his cheek is supposed to be the scar. The shoes he is wearing are supposed to be Converse, but I can't draw shoes that are facing forward so...bear with me. I know, it looks like his jacket is kinda floating off his shoulders, but it was study hall so I wasn't really doing my best...
This picture was done in #2 pencil. It was originally done on lined loose leaf paper, but I transferred it to computer paper because I didn't want the lines to show.
Well, now that I've criticized myself, I want to hear your "professional" opinions. Please, no insults...I don't like mean people.
