Yoikawa

My teacher says my drawing is becoming more "gothic". I was all confused, because how can a drawing be gothic? Hmm.. While I'm trying to figure it out I'll multitask while telling you about the picture.

I drew it entirely in pen, though the paper is evidently very dirty from my hands. I was using my new charcoal pencils on an earler page.. I hate charcoals!! XO

Lookie, too. I drew me a snakebird, or anhinga, because it's my favorite bird ever! lol You know, everyone in class was complaining about crosshatching, but I found it very easy.. Am I a freak? O_o

*pets the anhinga* What was it that you called the anhinga I drew for you? I think it was Latari or something. X3 Anyway...wow, I just love the crosshatchiny-ness. And the dude's hat. *steals it* Eeeh...he looks kinda creepy. All like "I'm looking at youuuuuuuu... *evil laugh*"

I like this alot, Yoikawa! I love how you drew his expression! Makes me wonder what is going through his mind. And the pattern on his clothing is awesome! I'll have to try that sometime, even though I am sure it won't end up as good. I like the snakebird, I can't draw animals that well. v.v

Anyways, in case you haven't noticed, I'm back! I hope you still know who I am! I've revived my old topic with some new pictures. I know they aren't that great, but nya, they are better than my older ones. I hope you'll go look at them when you get the chances. Tah tah till then, old friend! ^-^

I like it. The cross-hatching looks good, it gives a kind of texture to the coat. Actually, I have no idea what I am talking about, but this picture is good. =)
