XD This was actually requested by another user (hence the request) and I was more than thrilled to do it, because it showed me I wasn't the only one on this site who read that awesome story. =D 'Course, it's really, really late. XDDDDD
In this scene, Ed, Hohenheim, and Winry are in England, visiting a friend and said friend has asked Ed to answer the phone. Now, mind you, this is in the 1920s (after WWI), so a British person calling, expecting to get a British person answering and instead hearing GERMAN would make the caller go, "What the bloofy f---!"
"Hallo! Vielen dank für ihren anruf!" means "Hello! Thank you for calling!" :DDD Ed's such a smart @$$.
