Behold the Baltimore Mew Mew gang!
Instead of fighting aliens who want to pollute the earth, they fight more threatening (though everyday) foes, such as crack dealers, gang members, whores, corrupt city officials and any other 'real' dangers.
The names of the Baltimore Mew Mew gang members:
Mew Katto(cut) (animal- cat)
Mew Panku(puncture) (animal- raccoon)
Mew Orkesutora(orchestra) (animal- dragon)
Mew Suteki(steak) (animal- white tail deer)
Mew Paipu(pipe) (animal- yellow butterfly)
notice how all the animals (bar the dragon) are common place critters? Mew Paipu is smoking a cigarette. All of them are rather world weary.
