While you can't see much of her, her character is revealed through her face. i hope. i f you want a basic idea of what her costume looks like, and happen to own a copy of soul calibur 3, and happen to have unlocked most of the female clothes,
she's a scythe wielder who basically wears:
formal shirt(black)
leather gloves(black)
grand dame(white)/
heavenly skirt(white top and black bottom)
type x socks(black)
noble's shoes(black)
y-y-yeahh....
basically Nemo was conceived as being my take on the 'magical girl' anime, but set in a realistic setting. in other words, persecution from the human race, 'who am i?' angst, and of course, no magic talking rat. Far from the typical, '_______ with a twist' deal, I've thought this through and am going to be giving this all I've got.
now for the prologue!

On our side, Man has evolved by developing his mind in order to determine how to change the environment to fit his needs.
In doing so, man has single handedly taken over the planet. in seeking to control it he will inevitably bring about it's destruction. fueled by fear of his own kind, he distances himself from others, using the fruits of the mind's toiling labor to achieve any goal. No matter how much is gained, he seeks more, and his fear has spread, and all suffer in the imperfect world that lies as a broken puppet before oblivion's door, it's master watching ruefully from above.
As it is known, man's fear has bred weapons, giving him a means to take the lives of those he so fears. terrible instruments of death, that do not discriminate between friend or foe.
But our story does not begin with fear, or violence.
Our story begins with Sloth, Greed, Ignorance, denial.
Man is Lazy, and seeks to free himself of the bonds of labor. And so man has conceived ways to make life easier, conveniences that are shared with all of his brethren, for a price.
Nothing is gain without loss.
a Principle man refuses to accept or understand. In making the world a 'better place', man has unconsciously been creating the most deadly poison known to him. this poison is persistent, efficient, and fatal by any definition.
man sought to rid the world of this venom, again out of fear, so that he may continue to believe in the fallacy of his perfect world.
Man failed.
In doing so, he had relieved the planet of half of the lifeforms that wandered upon it's surface. Man learns from his mistakes, and the new world begins to reemerge. Man lives on and future generations take shape to rebuild that which is good for the planet, and destroy that which is not. Facts are laws, and knowledge is gold, and the ways of the past are forbidden.
Our story begins on a small island, off the coast of which was once called South Korea, where the forest's edge is home to an ambassador from the other side.

and novice level magic from a range(in the beginning, later on her powers increase)
people experienced with making profiles, please mention important categories i left out, cause i know i missed some..
This entire image was made using the pen tool in adobe illustrator, photoshop on steroids and that hard to handle.... nevertheless I'm happy with it. her forehead is supposed to be that big. as for her superlashes, it's my failed attempt at trying to make it look more shoujou-y. As per my earlier comment in the artist's notes, this is still technically in the 'magical girl' genre, so anyone who can help me translate to a 'shoujou' style of drawing is more than welcome to do so.
