Watercolor practice

Description

It's bright, I know. But that's the way it's supposed to look, so...Anyway. I've been wanting to practice using watercolors. I've never been that good with them, but I guess I'm getting better. This picture was inspired from a song called "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap. It's a beautiful song, and it attracted me because I was able to connect it to my story plot for the manga these characters belong to.
I hope I didn't go too overboard. Remember, I'm still practicing, so criticism is appreciated as long as it's comletely constructive. Praise is appreciated too!

Omgee... I can't begin to tell you how amazing this is! The linart is SPECTACULAR! I love how it's light, because it puts a lot of technique into the whole thing. Where did you learn to shade like that??? I like the colors.... pretty colors... So soft and airy. :D Good work!

::Critique:: It looks like you splashed her head with grass on one part, be a little careful! Unless of course your going for that, then it's awesome. I'm very inspired right now..... o___O

GOOD! THIS IS AWESOME! They look so cute together! I like how Kizumi looks!(I remebered his name!) and the girl looks pretty too! *favs*

I don't have any complaints on the colouring. It looks really good. The lineart is a bit light for my tastes, but that's just a question of my taste versus your's, so don't let it bother you. It's a really pretty picture.
