My inspiration hit really hard after seeing Howl's Moving Castle again. I've been wanting to do another fox anthro for some time, but standard foxes are so five seconds ago....

So goodbye fur, hello feathers! For those of you who saw the WIP versions, I told you this guy wouldn't end up the way you were expecting him to, and now you can see why.

This unnamed kitsun is armed with two blades of different lengths (similar to the rapier and dagger, a somewhat historical combination). Not only can he dual-wield, but he can also combine his two blades at the hilts to form something of a double-bladed stafflike weapon.

Versatility totally rocks.

And yes, I'm aware that I didn't write the actual title on this piece prior to scanning like I normally do. I couldn't think of an appropriate name for this guy.

Very creative, your feathers rock. And foxes are awesome, but feathered foxes are even better. I like the really long ones even more than the other ones. It adds a nice touch. Great job!

Well that definately wat I wasn't what I was expecting! I like the idea for the weapon(s), and as usual great detail on the feathers. Weird creature but it'll fit in perfectly with the rest of your gallery.
