Seconds from the Catch

Ok back to real work, a pic i did a month or two ago, but havent been able to upload till now. Actually a pretty random pic, and proof that if you stick with something long enough you can do something with it. I was trying to do a horse pic for days, ones with riders, unicorns, anything, finally got this.
But the story that popped into my head while drawing was that this horse (type-creature), is a part of an alien world (hence purple skies), and is blind and deaf, which wouldnt matter anyway as the flying cat has owl wings and doesnt make a sound. but before you feel too bad for the poney, the reason it can survive and move at all is because its hooves are charged with electrical current that senses the ground and immediate surroundings (kinda like sonar with electricity), and when attacked it can strike out with its hooves with a nasty shock for preditors. so we'll see who wins seeing as the cat has backup flying in.
