Whanna know what I thought about them? I thought s2 was hideous! S1 is like, big tough dragon dude comin' at cha... S2 is like, oh look it's a dorky dragon with goat huvs. By the way, nice lighting, very good.

I personally don`t like most of the art changes in the 2nd season, but I do like Jake`s dragon form

com-on, he is of Chinese descendants, his grandfather is a Chinese dragon, so it is only logical that he turns into such

This is a really good pic!  nicely colored and shaded.  I personally like the season 1 dragon and just the regular Jake a lot better.  The new Jake looks like a loser (that was kinda mean, but I still like the show!) and the new dragon is less intimidating.  I prefer season one.  But actually, you make the season two dragon better than the artists for the show!  If you worked for them, I'd probably like it better!  Keep up the good work!

I'm not sure which I like the best. While V1.0 has the awsome dragon Buffness number 2 is sleek and stylish, like a sports car.
It's like, one's built for speed and the other's built for perfomance, if only we could murge the two in to one we could all ejoy the awsomeness of a SUPERDRAGON!

in the show the season 2 one looks really scrawny, but the way you've drawn him here, he looks ok. i actually agree that the 1st season one looks too bulked out, i just think that the season two one looks like as if his head is too big for his body.

I have to admit at first I thought season two's dragon was awful, but after watching the show for a while I'm starting to like him. In the fight scenes he fights more like i think a dragon would; flying through the air, using his tail and fire breath more. Plus, if he's descended from a chinese dragon (grandpa), it makes sense if he looks like one. Awesome pic, and props to the new American Dragon!

season ones the one. who ever decided to change season two art needs to be fired or at lest bet to a bloody pulp.

They changed his dragon form to a thinner dragon form because he's only thirteen years old and they thought his season one dragon form was much too buff for a young kid. XD

They had their reasons. Watching the second season, it's hard to picture the original Jake Long design.
