October 10, 2006 - Papercut_Dragon

Second piece in my sister-married-to-game controller piece. The game plan for this has changed slightly; it's going to be a vein that I work on throughout the year. I've broadened my concentration ('cause apparently we're supposed to have one main one). I can't think of the word for it now, but if it comes to mind I'll be sure to make a mental note to update it on here, a note which I'll promtly forget, so the whole thing is a moot point anyway. Something along the lines of "getting overwhelmed" and "obession" but not "overwhelming obesssion."

Moving on . . . .

Never again will I paint (1) spoons, (2) cereal (darn Cheerios), (3) bowls and/or plates. Nope.

Acrylic on luwan, 18"x24", about 24 hours.

EDIT!: Finally got a better picture taken of this, with much better lighting.

Wow, acrylics? These look more like oils to me but it's still very good. I paint with both, though i'm growing towards oils more now.

If i get my camera or my scanner working i'll post my stuff. Oh...ignore my other stuff....that was bad.

Thanks! I'm not patient enough for oils, but if you think I managed to make simple acrylics look like oil paints, well - I'm honored!
