Canon means a "real" character or event in the context of a story. Caerleon's in the original Manga and the new Anime, he was created by Yoshiki Takaya, not the fans.

There are some awesome pics of Sho (Guyver I) and Zoalords Alkanfel (SIC) and Edward Caerleon at Deviant art by a woman named Ladena, though she made Caerleon look a bit effiminate...In my story, Caerleon is Czyvek's closest friend among the Zoalords, but he's not an OC, he's canon, I just molded the character my own way. He hasn't really played any role yet in the Manga...
