This is for perfectpureblood's contest. The theme was "Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow". I know it isn't a typical entry, but I wanted to try something a little different, so I took the theme in a metaphorical manner. Blackbird is trying to keep his face towards the light (love) to help him forget his shadow (the past). I'm pretty happy with it, I've never done anything like this before. I think the horses are the best I've ever drawn and colored. Hope you like it! ^_^

Oh...my...gosh...OH MY GOSH!!!! THAT is...I just can't describe it!! I LOVE IT TO DEATH! It goes so well with your story and you just drew it SOOOOOOOOO WONDERFULLY!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!! oh no! you've just made it so much harder to judge! lol. this is just breathtaking! the whole idea is fantastic! the red and the black, and flightangel looks lovely in that orb of light. and blackbird walking up that path looks just amazing, its just, I can't describe! this is phenominal, I can't put into words. thank you! *FAV!*
