Great pic! =) I love the contrast. I think the pproportions are great, it is just that there is no shading (It is hard to depict shading if you are just using black and white, and it is hard to depict form without shading). her head is tilting back a little so that is probably what is throwing you off. One thing, just to help the form of the face, I think that if the gap between the eye on our left and her hair should be thinner. I'm not sure though, so don't quote me *Grin*.

Looks like I'm the first one to comment on this one! Oh well. You have the mood pictured very nicely, only one thing threw me though and I'm sure you would agree, it's the proportions of the face. I don't know, maybe the eyes and mouth aren't positioned in the right place. I'm not flaming it by the way.
